  1. Why didnt the NFL just flex the packers game to 4:25 if they are the primary game with Buck and Aikman will be calling the game?

    1. What's the need? Not every quality game has to be in the late slot and otherwise, what would the lead game at 1 be?

    2. There are more games at 1PM on CBS and that would black out other home markets from seeing 1PM games on FOX (besides for week 17), also for that reason I have never seen a 1PM be the primary game during a FOX or CBS doubleheader.

    3. It has happened before A-Team calling 1pm game in DH window
      11-30-03 Pats/Colts
      12-14-03 Seahawks/Rams
      9-12-04 Bucs/Redskins
      10-3-04 Pats/Bills
      11-23-08 49ers/Cowboys
sure there others I've miss but 1's I can think of

    4. You are correct, great memory. That 11/23 cowboys/49ers game is the only game i recall in the flex scheduling era to have 1PM primary game during DH.

  2. Because Vikings are a joke and it's a holiday #GPG

  3. This comment has been removed by the author.

  4. I know that Dick Stockton has called a lot of sports in his career. I see Redskins/Bears has the frail-looking Stockton with Dave Diehl & sideline reporter Kristina Pink. I think the time has come for FOX Sports to replace Stockton with Sam Rosen or Joe Davis on one of its lower-tier "NFL on FOX" crews.

  5. Would have thought Myers and Ronde deserved a better match-up than the California Clunker. Stockton and his team should have been assigned that or, better yet, no comms at all given that its rating will be 0. After all the Raiders are on CBS at the same time trying to win the AFC West...

    1. I think when you consider the fact Redskins/Bears still has playoff meaning for Washington and that 49ers/Rams means zippo, I'd be okay if "NFL on FOX" switched assignments. I would've been okay with Chris Myers, Ronde Barber & Jennifer Hale braving the elements at Soldier Field instead of Dick Stockton, Dave Diehl & Kristina Pink. Stockton in particular looks frail & old now. I wonder if Stockton will also be calling a DePaul basketball game this week on FOX Sports 1 while he's in town. Still calls a lot of basketball as far as I know...

    2. I do not like the hate on Stockton. He may be older, and makes some gaffes, but he is a great announcer and enjoys what he does. It is a shame he is not paired with the same color analyst each week, like Chris Spielman, as he was supposed to be paired with. He keeps getting moved down each year, but I would take him calling a game over the horrible Myers/Barber team and Albert and Johnston team, who I do not understand how they are the three team, when they should be announcing some of the clunker games. Siragusa, while not the best announcer, added more entertainment to that team than what it is now. But I am sick of the hate on Stockton, as I still think he is a good announcer.

    3. I'm not hating on Dick Stockton. He's called a LOT of sports over the years and still has a distinctive voice. I think he's past his prime and his best days are clearly in the rearview mirror. When I think of Stockton, the NFL isn't what immediately comes to mind. I'm old enough to remember when Stockton was the lead voice when CBS Sports had the NBA for the longest time. I'm old enough to remember when Stockton, Hubie Brown & Tom Heinsohn called NBA games on CBS. That was over 3 decades ago.

    4. I am also old enough to remember that but like his work doing NFL games and he was the number two team years ago with Matt Millen. Even if he has called a LOT of games over the years he deserves one consistent partner in the booth and the fact that Spielman rotates from that team along with Millen and Quinn is not right. Stockton is one of the great announcers of all time and he should not get the flack he sometimes gets because of his age, as he clearly still enjoys what he is doing and it shows in how he calls a game.

    5. Plus using the terms "frail" and "old" was not a nice thing to say about anyone, especially an announcer as good as Stockton. That seemed like hating on Stockton, even if not meant.

    6. When I saw Dick Stockton calling a Big East basketball game last season on FOX Sports 1, I was shocked to see how much Stockton has aged considerably. You're right. It's not the nicest of descriptions for Stockton calling him frail & old. Sometimes, the truth hurts.

    7. The truth hurts but in this case should have been said. Not a very classy move to describe Stockton like that, even if you believe that or not, not very nice and with all due respect classless.

    8. I'm glad i don't have to listen to the horrible Myers/Barber team for once! Kenny and Moose are better than them.

  6. And why is Joe Buck on the early game instead of the late game? Last time that happened was 2008. It doesn't make any sense.

    1. FOX said yesterday that "America's game of the week" on Saturday is the 1 PM game this week. That would be the game Buck/Aikman would get

    2. Because Buck loves Green Bay. Even though Tampa @ New Orleans & Ari @ Seattle would have been excellent choices.. if Buck doesn't call at least 12 GB / Dallas / NYG games a season then he'll explode.

  7. great 13th week of the season i am stuck with silver spoon and the dumb blonde hotel milf wanna be.

  8. And the other thing is why has Dick Stockton been pairing with David Diehl instead of Chris Spielman?

    1. I agree with Jonathan. Spielman is a great analyst and should get some games when he is not in a three-man booth. He was listed on the official NFL on FOX announcer pairings over the summer as being on the six team with Stockton and would call games occasionally with Brenneman and Davis when the six team did not have a game that weekend. Fox should keep to their word on that one and then move Spielman up as he is a great announcer. Fox never has a stable team past their five team, as Stockton always has a rotating pair of announcers (Diehl, Quinn, Millen and Spielman) as does Sam Rosen on the seven team. Fox does not have the depth and talent on its announcing teams as CBS does. I would take Gumbel, Harlan and the Dedes teams over their lower teams, though I like the Buck/Aikman team and the Burkhardt and Lynch team.

    2. Spielman & Davis together with Brennaman & also Kutcher back in October has worked out pretty well between the 3 they have pretty good chemistry they're a much better 3 man team than Andrew Catalon, Steve Beuerlein & Steve Tasker

  9. True they are a good three man team but Charles Davis talks too much not letting Spielman speak. Spielman would be better in a three man booth with Burkhardt and Lynch, who are a better team with better games. Spielman should be on that team or on the six team with Stockton like the NFL on FOX announced over the summer.

    1. Davis does at times but at least they don't interrupt each other like both Steve's do but I do hope he moves up next season he's a solid football announcer if he doesn't I still see him being with Brennaman & Davis which means Fox would have to hire another analyst for part time games

    2. I read something over the summer that spielman will be going over to Fox's College Football side when they take over the Big Ten starting next year.

  10. wish they would stop shoving silver spoon and dumb hotel blonde down my throat. plus with elmer fudd officiating the game the min/gb game will be unbearable.

  11. Dick Stockton called the 2010 Orange Bowl between Iowa Hawkeyes and Georiga Tech Yellow Jackets with John Lynch, Laura Okmin and Chris Myers the Final telecast of BCS on Fox.

    1. This was the time that Dick Stockton and Chris Myers worked together.

  12. The female commentator marrissa for pre game show for Xmas eve needs to go she sucks...

  13. The female commentator marrissa for pre game show for Xmas eve needs to go she sucks...

    1. Are you referring to Charissa Thompson? She's the host of "FOX NFL Kickoff", the hourlong pregame show that leads into "FOX NFL Sunday". She's also on "Extra" with Mario Lopez during the week. Is that the one you're referring?

  14. Chris Myers is also the Studio Host of NASCAR on Fox.

  15. When you gonna post week 17 commentators for fox and cbs
