  1. It's being said that Ian & Rich are in East Rutherford due to Eagle's commitments with the Brooklyn Nets while there normal partners are in London in the morning on state run network for the league

    1. Yeah I was debating putting just him up there since I don't know who he's with yet and there is a lot of TBA this week.

  2. Never would have come to expect a Raiders Jags game being the primary game

  5. any idea who got giants vs rams in London?

    1. Kevin Harlan, Dan Fouts and presumably Evan Washburn. Ian Eagle isn't going to London. Instead, he will remain stateside.

    2. Why is Rich Gannon paired with Ian Eagle?

  6. Greg Gumbel/Trent Green/Jamie Erdahl confirmed on Raiders/Jaguars.

  7. Why is Raiders at Jaguars the primary game shouldn't it be the Ravens at Jets.

    1. It looks to me like every game is almost distributed evenly. Being the "primary" means very little this week.

    2. when you look at the lineup of weaksuace matchups, that game is probably the most compelling.

    3. Because the Ravens and Jets both suck easy answer lol

  8. Shouldn't Ravens vs Jets at 1pm not be on KYW in Philadelphia because the Eagles have a home game at 1pm on Fox 29. Local Home Team Blackout rule?

  9. Anyone have an idea who is calling bills vs dolphins

  10. It says Tom McCarthy & Adam Archuleta are calling Bills/Dolphins on the "NFL on CBS" this week. You know Jim Nantz, Phil Simms & Tracy Wolfson wouldn't miss Patriots/Steelers for the world, even if Bears/Packers on "Thursday Night Football" turns out to be a snoozer.

    1. Thought Buck would have kicked up more of a fuss that he wasn't allowed to call his two fav teams + his fav QB ever (A-Rodg).. last week.

    2. I mentioned Jim Nantz, Phil Simms & Tracy Wolfson will have 2 games this NFL weekend with Bears/Packers on "Thursday Night Football" & Patriots/Steelers as the second game of the "NFL on CBS" doubleheader this week. Two things...1. Why doesn't CBS put in a claim of "America's Game of the Week" for the marquee game of New England/Pittsburgh? Also, why aren't there more late afternoon kickoffs, regardless which network has the doubleheader? I've noticed very few 3:05 or 3:25P (CT) kickoffs in recent years.

    3. American's Game of the Week is the term FOX uses plus at times the league wants as many people as possible to watch just 1 game

      Delete
    4. And even if it's the Lesser 425 game for some reason Fox uses America's game of the week. Which I find hilarious when it's a Bucs 49ers matchup or something as Dreadful as tgat

      Delete
  11. I think NBC has also used that term to help promote its "Sunday Night Football" package, too. The whole "America's Game of the Week" term, and Patriots/Steelers would definitely qualify along those same lines. I know that people will tune in no matter what, but New England/Pittsburgh should be quite the lead in to CBS News' "60 Minutes" Sunday night.

    1. yeah it will be interesting to see the ratings since it will air throughout the country other than the Atlanta metro area but it will take hit to some with no Ben for the Steelers in the game

  12. WBZ in Boston is carrying Bills at Dolphins in the early slot.
