2016 Open Championship TV Schedule & Announcers

For the first time ever, the Open Championship (or British Open to some) will be broadcast on the networks of NBCUniversal this year and for the first time ever, a major will be broadcast on Golf Channel. In short, plenty to look out for next weekend at Royal Troon.

Here's the full broadcast and announcing schedule for the 2016 Open Championship.

First Round - Thursday, July 14th
Golf Channel - 1:30 am-4:00 pm

Second Round - Friday, July 15th
Golf Channel - 1:30 am-4:00 pm

Third Round - Saturday, July 16th
Golf Channel - 4:00 am-7:00 am
NBC - 7:00 am-2:30 pm

Final Round - Sunday, July 17th
Golf Channel - 4:00 am-7:00 am

  1. Surprised to see Faldo working with NBC. I assume he is still at CBS doing the PGA Tour and I would have thought CBS wouldn't want its main analyst working for a rival station.

    1. But he works for Golf Channel so I imagine you won't see him on NBC but you definitely will see him on Golf Channel.
