  1. It's really interesting that ALL 4 NFC North teams start their season at an AFC South stadium. The other thing is, now that Tony Siragusa is gone, who's going to replace him?

    2. As it always every year, you always make stuff up. I find no source that Coughlin will join NFL on Fox. That's not going to happen.

      Delete
    3. Holly Sonders could be a candidate since she did a few games last season I don't see any other changes as far as the other announcers are concerned

      Delete
    4. Tony Siragusa was let go by Fox. That's the only change so far I know.

      Delete
    5. It is Peter Schrager, who has just been promoted from #7 sideline reporter to #4. YES, I said Peter Schrager!

      Delete
    6. Good, that was exactly what I needed to know a little while back.

      Delete
  2. And besides Ben, you put BROWNS TWICE, LOL! Week 12: 49ers Browns and Giants Browns! Seriously, the 49ers played the Browns LAST year!

  3. Man I hope Buck and Aikman don't call Packers Lions in Week 3 because they called a Packer-Lions rivalry five straight years.

    1. You don't need to cyber bully and besides, Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis are conformed for that game as Buck and Aikman are conformed for Redskins Giants.

  5. It will be interesting to see who would call Packers Jaguars in week 1.

    My predictions for Buck/Aikman
    Week 1 Giants-Cowboys
    Week 2 Cowboys-Redskins
    Week 3 Vikings Panthers
    Week 4 Cowboys 49ers
    Week 5 Bears Colts
Week 6 Cowboys Packers with Thom Brennamnaman
Week 7 Saints Chiefs with Thom Brennaman
Week 8 Seahawks Saints with Thom Brennaman
    Week 9 Eagles Giants
    Week 10 Cowboys Steelers
    Week 11 Bears Giants
    Week 12 Redskins Cowboys
    Week 13 Giants Steelers

    1. nice predictions but Joe will be doing baseball playoffs in Weeks 5-8 most likely but will see how FOX does things this year

      Delete
    2. Thanks. And the reason why I said Vikings Packers because that game in week 16 could flex to the late doubleheader game depending how well both teams play during the season.

      Delete
    3. So far three predictions correct on Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

      Delete
    4. The ones I got wrong so far are Buccaneers Redskins and Vikings Panthers week 3. Cowboys Packers is an easy one even though Buck will be doing baseball which means that Brennaman will fill in.

      Delete
    5. I predict Mike Joy Fill-in for Joe Buck and Adam Alexander Fill-in for Kevin Burkhardt.

      Delete
    6. Are you making this stuff up? Because I am assuming you got that from Wikipedia.

      Delete
    7. LISTEN KILE BOGART, MIKE JOY DOES NOT FILL-IN FOR JOE BUCK, AND ADAM ALEXANDER DOES NOT FILL-IN FOR KEVIN BURKHARDT! THOM BRENNAMAN FILL-IN FOR JOE BUCK, AND SAM ROSEN FILL-IN FOR KEVIN BURKHARDT! DO YOU THINK THAT I MAKING THIS STUFF UP? YES OR NO

      Delete
    8. Derrick Lee, please settle down. There is no need to become hostile here!

      Delete
    9. I apologize for the hostile, but Kile Bogart has got to stop making this thing up.

      Delete
    10. I think they'll use one of the college football announcers to fill in during baseball playoffs. I would prefer Mike Joy or Adam Alexander though. It won't ever happen.

      Delete
    11. The Christmas Eve game can't be flexed by NFL rules we will see who will announce the game. Maybe Burkhardt and Lynch will announce? Unless it's the NFC North winner-take/all!

      Delete
  6. I get the feeling that Sam Rosen/John Lynch/Pam Oliver will be assigned ATL@DEN in Week 5. Lynch is one of three inductees for the Broncos' Ring of Fame in 2016. The Ring of Fame induction game will be announced at a later date, however, I think it would make sense for that game to be Week 5 vs. the Falcons, since that would be the Broncos' only appearance on Fox, barring cross-flexing.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I also found out Chris Spielman will be doing NFL and College football games for Fox Sports.

    ReplyDelete
  8. My predictions for Joe Buck/Troy Aikman:

    Week 1: Giants-Cowboys
    Week 2: Saints-Giants
    Week 3: Vikings-Panthers
    Week 4: Saints-Chargers
    Week 5: Bears-Colts
    Week 6: Cowboys-Packers
    Week 7: Vikings-Eagles
    Week 8: Cardinals-Panthers
    Week 9: Eagles-Giants
    Week 10: Cowboys-Steelers
    Week 11: Bears-Giants
    Week 12: Redskins-Cowboys (easy one)
    Week 13: Giants-Steelers
    Week 14: Seahawks-Packers
    Week 15: Packers-Bears or Saints-Cardinals (tough one)
    Week 16: Cardinals-Seahawks
    Week 17: Cowboys-Eagles

    1. But confirmations from Chris Myers and Ronde Barber just recently came out, LOL.

  27. A few more confirmations coming through ....
. Chris Myers confirmed on Twitter that he will have MIN-CAR in Week 3, ATL-DEN in Week 5 (surprise!! - but KB will be in studio for LDS work for FOX MLB most likely),& ATL-SEA in Week 6. Also, via Jen Hale on Twitter, SF-CAR is Week 2 for Myers / Barber / Hale.
. Kenny Albert confirmed Lions / Bears for Week 4..

    ReplyDelete
  28. . Kevin Burkhardt for Packers-Jaguars in Week 1 & don't know, but either Cowboys-Redskins/Seahawks-Rams (Week 2), Lions-Packers (Week 3), or Seahawks-Jets (Week 4) is the other one that he confirmed as well.

    ReplyDelete

  30. I was right Kenny Albert & Daryl Johnston is calling Lions vs Colts Week 1 sideline reporter TBD

  31. Former New York Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin will replace Tony Siragusa as the sideline reporter.

    2. Check that Peter Schrager will replace Tony Siragusa as the sideline reporter.

  32. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling Giants Cowboys was an easy guess. Since they are calling Seahawks Rams week 2 they haven't called a Rams game since they were in St. Louis in 2008.

  38. joe buck is doing redskins vs giants week 3 not lions vs packers

  39. I wish to pursue a play-by-play sportscasting career and love guessing announcers for all the games: Week 1 (aside from OAK/NO & NYG/DAL) I have: CHI/HOU Kenny Albert, GB/JAX Sam Rosen, MIN/TEN Brennaman, TB/ATL Dick Stockton, and Kevin Burkhardt gets DET/IND.

Kenny Albert and Daryl Johnston will call Lions/Colts Week 1, Saints/Giants Week 2, and Cardinals/Bills Week 3.
Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch will call Packers/Jaguars Week 1, Seahawks/Jets Week 4.

  49. Who are the announcers for this year?

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am very disappointed with Fox Sports, I really think Pam Oliver should still be on the Joe Buck/Troy Aikman team, what should of happened was this would be Pam Oliver's final season, final game the Super Bowl and then announce retirement, I am not a fan of people get demoted which I think is disrespectful. Erin Andrews should be on the A Team next season. Pam Oliver is a way better reporter than Erin Andrews.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I disagree with Anonymous. Erin Andrews is way better than Pam Oliver.

      Delete
    2. Got word from Awful Announcing that Peter Schrager is the new sideline reporter with Thom Brennaman & Charles Davis, Chris Spielman will join Brennaman & Davis at some point during the seasonto form a 3 man booth & finally David Diehl will team with Sam Rosen along with Holly Sonders/ Shannon Spake when Spake is done with College Football

      Delete
    3. Anonymous, demotions happen when people do not perform as well as they should, or if someone else better comes along. Those who merit to be higher than someone else should be granted access. Maybe you disagree with Fox in the Pam Oliver situation (I agree with what you are saying in this case), but people grow old and lose the heat to their fastballs; they are not what they once were. If no one demoted, Dick Stockton would be Fox's number two play-by-play, and Sam Rosen would be their number three play-by-play. Is that what you would like?

      Delete
    4. I dont understand how Dick Stockton still has a job

      Delete
    5. My suggestion is that Dick Stockton "The Holy Toledo" first got the job in the 1960s as a play-by-play announcer.

  51. Why does Diehl keep getting demoted? I thought he was good when he was with Brennaman two years ago?

Since the first seven pairings are determined, that means they will be on the number eight team. The fact is that the number eight team will probably only call one or two games this year. I wonder if they will keep Brady Quinn on the eighth team, and Matt Millen will be paired with his old partner Dick Stockton for a week or two when Chris Spielman ascends to calling games with Thom Brennaman and Charles Davis.

  67. I'm sorry, but Week 4's announcer assignments don't make any sense to me at all. For example, it's laughable that Buck/Aikman are covering Dallas/SF when there's arguably a bigger or as big of a game like Saints-Chargers, (despite the Saints' poor record) for Drew Brees' first game in San Diego since 2005.

And why would they send Stockton/Spielman to Panthers-Falcons, which is a bigger game than Rams-Cardinals or Lions-Bears considering how woeful the Bears are?

    Seriously, Fox?

    1. Wait I must have that wrong. Brennaman and Davis must be the #2 team if Brennaman's in for Buck, making Burkhardt & Lynch #3 and Albert & Johnston the #4. Still think Albert & Johnston ought to be in the same booth this week though.

    2. Look at the link at the top of the page. It gives the pecking order of Fox's NFL crews. Just because Brennaman is filling in for Buck does not make him the number two play-by-play guy. Fox is just comfortable having him paired with Aikman; that's all.

I was wondering if its possible that this game moves to the 4:25 PM late game slot since I thought that this would be a big game possibly for the NFC North title.
