2016 Pac-12 Tournament Predictions

Another of the four conference tourneys that will be hosted in Greater Las Vegas is that of the Pac-12, which will have their action at the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Ducks won their first regular season championship since 2002 and only their fifth overall but there will be a number of teams in the mix this week, including Utah, Cal, Arizona, Colorado and perhaps somebody else.

But in the end, there can only be one. Who will win the 2016 Pac-12 Tournament come Saturday? Here are my predictions.
First Round - Wednesday, March 9th
8 Washington vs. 9 Stanford - Pac-12 Network, 3:00
Pick: Washington

5 Colorado vs. 12 Washington State - P12N, 5:30
Pick: Colorado

7 USC vs. 10 UCLA - P12N, 9:00
Pick: UCLA

6 Oregon State vs. 11 Arizona State - P12N, 11:30
Pick: Oregon State

Quarterfinals - Thursday, March 10th
1 Oregon vs. 8 Washington - P12N, 3:00
Pick: Oregon

4 Arizona vs. 5 Colorado - P12N, 5:30
The Wildcats did fall to the Buffaloes a couple of weeks ago but with how they finished the season with winning eight of their last ten, I think they can pull off a run in this tournament.
Pick: Arizona

2 Utah vs. 10 UCLA - P12N, 9:00
Pick: Utah

3 California vs. 6 Oregon State - FS1, 11:30
Regarding their regular season matchups, the Golden Bears won in Berkeley while the Beavers won in Corvallis. But Cal finished their regular season with ten wins in their last 13 games and I think that momentum will carry them onward
Pick: California

Semifinals - Friday, March 11th
1 Oregon vs. 4 Arizona - P12N, 9:00
Both teams are pretty well-balanced but I think that Arizona's superior offense will be enough for them to advance to the final.
Pick: Arizona

2 Utah vs. 3 California - FS1, 11:30
The Golden Bears have been streaking but the Utes have been as well, and they're the superior team in my opinion.
Pick: Utah

Championship - Saturday, March 12th
2 Utah vs. 4 Arizona - FS1, 10:00
These two have only faced off once this season but it was only ten days ago and the Utes came out on top at home. I think we will see a similar result here in Vegas.
Pick: Utah
