2015 MLB Postseason Predictions: LCS

I think it is safe to say that after a wild and crazy Division Series, this MLB Postseason has jumped up a notch. MLB has come to its final four if you will and what we know is that one team will be breaking a long championship deficit with Toronto winning last in 1993, the Mets last in 1986, the Royals last in 1985 and the Cubs last in 1908. Billy Goats need not apply, here are my predictions as to who will get to the World Series.

2015 NFL Predictions: Week 6

I think there will be a lot of eyes on a certain matchup this week, namely the one on Sunday night. This will be the New England Patriots' first crack at the Indianapolis Colts since the AFC Championship Game, which famously gave us the term Deflategate. Since then, the NFL  put together a comically bad investigation which led to an overreaction in terms of punishment and proceeded to frankly embarrass itself, yet again. While the NFL has a ton of questions still to be answered, we'll have to wait and see to see what the Patriots will do in Indy on Sunday night.

Here are my Week 6 picks.

Can South Carolina's next coach further what Steve Spurrier built?

With all the hub-bub surrounding the coaching situation at USC, perhaps the bigger and more surprising coaching news came from the Midlands of South Carolina when Steve Spurrier announced his sudden resignation as the head coach of the Gamecocks. And now a program that reached its highest heights under its now-former head coach wonders just what is next.

Who can return USC to the pinnacle of college football?

The Steve Sarkisian era at Troy has come to an abrupt end as of yesterday as only one day after announcing that Sarkisian would be taking a leave of absence in the wake of coming to a Sunday team meeting inebriated, USC AD Pat Haden fired him. Sarkisian is now the second straight Trojans head coach to be fired five games into a season after the immortal Lane Kiffin in 2013. USC has started a season in which they were expected to be a Playoff contender 3-2, with both losses coming at home.

So now as USC continues to fall behind in the Pac-12, most notable behind crosstown rival UCLA, who can bring the once-revered program back to the top.

2015 College Football Predictions: Week 7

So many big games this week in college football (Alabama-Texas A&M, Michigan State-Michigan, Florida-LSU) and yet the big stories this week surround two programs that will be a new head coach: Southern California and South Carolina. We all know about Steve Sarkisian's troubles which led embattled AD Pat Haden to make a coaching change, but how about the stunning retirement of the Ol' Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier? Both teams are in action on Saturday.

Here are my Week 7 picks.
