2015 MLB on Fox Announcers & Distribution: July 11th

MLB action continues this Saturday night on Fox Sports with a troika of games on the docket at seven p.m. This includes action from Fenway Park, PNC Park and Oriole Park, which will follow Tigers-Twins on FS1. Keith Olbermann is out at ESPN...again

Keith Olbermann's second tenure at ESPN is going to be shorter than his first one by a few years. Two summers after his return to the network was announced, Olbermann's show will come to an end by the end of the month. He has helmed a self-titled show that initially aired at 11 p.m. and now at five p.m. on ESPN2.

Perhaps the news of Olbermann having a short tenure anywhere would not be that surprising given his previous record but what may be surprising is the kind of departure this has been.

Remember when DeAndre Jordan appeared to be headed to the Dallas Mavericks? That only was five days ago, leaving a major hole in the Clippers' lineup and more questions about the quality of teammate that Chris Paul is and how good of a personnel executive Doc Rivers is. Meanwhile, the Mavericks had filled a big void at center and looked to remain a playoff team going forward.

Well some craziness occured yesterday, including some serious emoji action, and now Jordan is headed back to the Clippers. So now, what's next?

With 2015 Women's World Cup, Fox Soccer takes step in right direction

In the wake of seizing the FIFA reins from the much-celebrated coverage by ESPN, as well as criticism of their own soccer coverage in the past, Fox Sports was going to given a close examination with this year's Women's World Cup in Canada. And while they are not quite at ESPN's level quite just yet, they are not that far off and it was a very good showing from them this summer.

2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup: Group Stage Predictions

The CONCACAF Gold Cup determines, among other things, the regional champion of the Caribbean, Central America and North America. However, this is a tournament that has only been won been won by Mexico and the United States, the defending champions save for Canada winning in 2000. It all kicks off tomorrow evening in Texas. Here are my predictions for group play for the 2015 Gold Cup.
