The field of 24 that opened the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup has now been whittled to 16 as we have reached the knockout stage. Who will advance to the quarterfinals? Here are my predictions.

2015 NASCAR on NBC Announcers

Fourteen years after beginning their inaugural NASCAR television contract with the July race at Daytona, then called the Pepsi 400, NBC Sports will return to NASCAR coverage on July 4th weekend. NBC signed a major new television deal along with Fox almost two years ago and will carry both Xfinity Series action as well as Sprint Cup action all the way to the conclusion of the NASCAR season. And for those that remember NBC's first foray into NASCAR coverage, there will be a whole bunch of new faces on NBC's coverage so let's take a look.

2015 U.S. Open Preview

Eight years ago, Chambers Bay had not even opened yet. But now, the former gravel quarry is the host site of the 115th United States Open Championship. The views of Puget Sound may stunning but that does not mean by any stretch that the action will come easy for the players. This is the longest U.S. Open, and the first one over 7,900 yards, it may play like the Open Championship and it has got holes  (one and 18) that will alternate their par by the day. It another words, it will get interesting in University Place this weekend.
