  1. IDK who idea is it to leave Cowboys/Packers as a stand alone game? I know 2 years ago they met in late window and FOX moved 2 games from 1pm to 4:15pm at that time. Could FOX ask CBS if they could of cross flex Chargers/Chiefs or Titans/Jets into a late window and show games to markets who teams in AFC WC chase.

    1. No matter their record, Dallas is a draw everywhere, more viewers means more revenue. This is why they have fewer games in the late window now.

  2. I know the SEA-BAL game was flexed out of SNF but they still could have left it at 4:25.

I hate the fact that there are so few late games anymore. Seems like its only two a week

    1. because they want the game to be in as many markets as possible. They pay so much for the tv rights, they want as many markets as possible to gather advertising from their game of the week. Why shut out Seattle and Baltimore from that game when they can get that game form both of those markets and the money they would get from DAL-GB.

  3. It's not as if either team is playing particularly well - the Pack fluked a win over Detroit and Dallas are 3 - 8 which tells you all you need to know. Ben said a few weeks ago that the ratings justify so much exposure for Dallas games but there must come a time when even the FOX execs say enough is enough. The Panthers' game should have been shifted to 4.25 and The Packs' moved back to 1pm eastern. Perhaps it can still be done...

    1. the time will come when the ratings don't come, and that's not happening anytime soon, because this game will draw strong ratings.

  4. It won't be done. Changes have to be made w/ in 14 days to have a game flexed to a later time.

  5. 11 games at 1 and only 2 at 4. ridiculous way to spread them out. Andrew will not be happy. Hard to do the Red Zone channel with only 2 games.

  6. FOX is to blame for not having at least one other game at 4.25. CBS had no obligation to do so as it is only doing regional coverage this week. I thought the NFL wanted maximum coverage for important games... the audience for Carolina (a 12-0 team) will be much reduced thanks to FOX and their favouritism for Dallas.

  7. Brady Quinn calling a Browns game i can't be the only one lookin forward to his analysis of the qb issues they have
