2015 College Football Predictions: Week 10

(News & Observer)
The craziness never ends in college football. Two weeks after the bonkers finish in Ann Arbor and a week after the stunning finish in Atlanta, the Miami Hurricanes pulled something off that may have surpass The Play in the incomprehensible play they pulled off to defeat Duke in Durham. Of course, the officiating may have botched the entire thing but alas, the zaniness of this sport never seeks to amaze me.

What will happen this week? Here are my picks.

Note: I'll be using the Playoff rankings for the balance of the season. They are announced on Tuesday nights and my picks will be updated as such.

Tuesday, November 3rd
Northern Illinois vs. 24 Toledo - ESPN2, 8:00
Pick: Toledo

Wednesday, November 4th
Ohio vs. Bowling Green - ESPN2, 8:00
Pick: Bowling Green

Thursday, November 5th
Buffalo vs. Kent State - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: Buffalo

Ball State vs. Western Michigan - CBSSN, 7:30
Pick: Western Michigan

Arkansas State vs. Appalachian State - ESPNU, 7:30
Pick: Appalachian State

6 Baylor vs. Kansas State - FS1, 7:30
Pick: Baylor

20 Mississippi State vs. Missouri - ESPN, 9:00
Pick: Mississippi State

Nevada vs. Fresno State - ESPN2, 10:30
Pick: Nevada

Friday, November 6th
22 Temple vs. SMU - ESPN2, 8:00
Pick: Temple

Rice vs. UTEP - CBSSN, 8:00
Pick: UTEP

BYU vs. San Jose State - CBSSN, 11:30
Pick: BYU

Saturday, November 7th
Akron vs. UMass - CBSSN, 12:00
Pick: Akron

FAU vs. Western Kentucky - FSN, 12:00
Pick: Western Kentucky

UCF vs. Tulsa - ESPNEWS, 12:00
Pick: Tulsa

Penn State vs. 21 Northwestern - ESPNU, 12:00
This is a relatively even contest but the difference for me will be this strong NW defense against the bad offensive line of the Nittany Lions.
Pick: Northwestern

Illinois vs. Purdue - BTN, 12:00
Pick: Illinois

Charlotte vs. FIU - ASN, 12:00
Pick: FIU

Texas Tech vs. West Virginia - FS1, 12:00
Pick: Texas Tech

Duke vs. North Carolina - ESPN2, 12:00
Duke's loss to the U was so bonkers that we still don't know what to think. What we do think is that this Carolina team is looking very good right now.
Pick: North Carolina

Vanderbilt vs. Florida - ESPN, 12:00
Pick: Florida

Kentucky vs. Georgia - SEC Network, 12:00
Are the Sharks starting to circle Mark Richt in Oxford? Sure looks like it and a solid Kentucky team will give them all they can handle.
Pick: Georgia

5 Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh - ABC, 12:00
Another tough road test against another quality defense for the Fighting Irish. They'll pull out another win but it will be close.
Pick: Notre Dame

Syracuse vs. Louisville - ACC Network, 12:30
Pick: Louisville

NC State vs. Boston College - ACC Network, 12:30
Pick: NC State

Stanford vs. Colorado - Pac-12 Networks, 1:00
Pick: Stanford

Louisiana vs. Georgia State - ESPN3, 2:00
Pick: Louisiana

Eastern Michigan vs. Miami (OH) - ESPN3, 2:30
Pick: Miami

Idaho vs. South Alabama - ESPN3, 3:00
Pick: South Alabama

Colorado State vs. Wyoming - ESPN3, 3:00
Pick: Colorado State

Virginia vs. Miami (FL) - ACC Network (FSN), 3:00
Pick: Miami

16 Florida State vs. 1 Clemson - ABC, 3:30
That FSU loss to Georgia Tech still makes no sense but it did show that this team is not nearly as good as they were the last two years. They just don't have the talent level that the Tigers have.
Pick: Clemson

Arkansas vs. 18 Ole Miss - CBS, 3:30
Pick: Ole Miss

Army vs. Air Force - ESPNU, 3:30
Pick: Air Force

Arizona State vs. Washington State - FS1, 3:30
The Cougars came close to taking out Stanford but they couldn't finish the deal after a last-second field goal missed the uprights. They showed that they are for real and they'll bounce back and defeat the Sun Devils on Saturday.
Pick: Washington State

Iowa vs. Indiana - ESPN, 3:30
Pick: Iowa

Wisconsin vs. Maryland - BTN, 3:30
Pick: Wisconsin

Rutgers vs. 17 Michigan - BTN, 3:30
Pick: Michigan

8 TCU vs. 14 Oklahoma State - Fox, 3:30
I think that the Horned Frogs are primed for an upset and we will get it here. Anything can happen when neither teams plays defense but TCU's defense woes will come back to haunt them here.
Pick: Oklahoma State

North Texas vs. Louisiana Tech - FCS, 3:30
Pick: Louisiana Tech

Marshall vs. Middle Tennessee - FSN, 3:30
Pick: Marshall

Cincinnati vs. 25 Houston - ESPN2, 3:30
This is Houston's first real test this season but this team is for real. Also doesn't hurt that Cincinnati isn't good enough defensively to slow them down.
Pick: Houston

Louisiana Monroe vs. Troy - ESPN3, 3:30
Pick: Troy

Utah State vs. New Mexico - CBSSN, 3:30
Pick: Utah State

New Mexico State vs. Texas State - ESPN3, 4:00
Pick: Texas State

UConn vs. Tulane - ESPNEWS, 4:00
Pick: UConn

South Carolina vs. Tennessee - SEC Network, 4:00
Pick: Tennessee

23 UCLA vs. Oregon State - Pac-12 Networks, 4:30
Pick: UCLA

Hawaii vs. UNLV - Mountain West Network, 6:00
Pick: Hawaii

Navy vs. Memphis - ESPN2, 7:00
I think that Memphis is the better team here but Navy will make it interesting (as it usually does) with their option attack. Controlling the clock is the best way to combat a great quarterback and that will certainly help against Paxton Lynch.
Pick: Memphis

Old Dominion vs. UTSA - ASN, 7:00
Pick: Old Dominion

Iowa State vs. 15 Oklahoma - ESPNU, 7:00
Pick: Oklahoma

7 Michigan State vs. Nebraska - ESPN, 7:00
It has become a mess in Lincoln. That can happen when you get embarrassed on the road by an awful Purdue team.
Pick: Michigan State

Utah vs. Washington - Fox, 7:30
Pick: Utah

Auburn vs. 19 Texas A&M - SEC Network, 7:30
Is A&M vulnerable for an upset? They could be after following up two straight losses with struggling early with South Carolina. Still like them over an Auburn team that is too inconsistent.
Pick: Texas A&M

USF vs. East Carolina - CBSSN, 7:30
Pick: South Florida

2 LSU vs. 4 Alabama - CBS, 8:00
The Crimson Tide don't look to be as good as they usually are, and they are still 7-1. We all talk about Leonard Fournette for a reason (because he's freaking awesome) but QB Brandon Harris has yet to throw an interception. In the end, I like Saban at home.
Pick: Alabama

Kansas vs. Texas - Longhorn Network, 8:00
Pick: Texas

Minnesota vs. 3 Ohio State - ABC, 8:00
The Golden Gophers will not be beating anybody with clock management like what they showed at the end of their loss to Michigan. Also, Urban Meyer may be full of it.
Pick: Ohio State

California vs. Oregon - ESPN2, 10:30
Remember when Cal looked to be in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North? That seems so long ago after three losses in a row. Now they get to go to Autzen and take on an Oregon team that still has issues, but has won two in a row.
Pick: Oregon

Arizona vs. USC - ESPN, 10:30
These two are going in opposite directions. Arizona was up 3-0 at Washington and then promptly gave up 49 unanswered points, while SC has put up two nice wins in a row. Therefore, give me the Trojans.
Pick: USC
