2015 College Football Predictions: Week 7

(Getty)
So many big games this week in college football (Alabama-Texas A&M, Michigan State-Michigan, Florida-LSU) and yet the big stories this week surround two programs that will be a new head coach: Southern California and South Carolina. We all know about Steve Sarkisian's troubles which led embattled AD Pat Haden to make a coaching change, but how about the stunning retirement of the Ol' Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier? Both teams are in action on Saturday.

Here are my Week 7 picks.

Tuesday, October 13th
Arkansas State vs. South Alabama - ESPN2, 8:00
Pick: South Alabama

Thursday, October 15th
Auburn vs. Kentucky - ESPN, 7:00
The Tigers desperately need a win and I think they'll get one here.
Pick: Auburn

Western Kentucky vs. North Texas - CBSSN, 7:30
Pick: Western Kentucky

18 UCLA vs. 15 Stanford - ESPN, 10:30
Stanford has looked very strong since losing in their opener at Northwestern and it has been powered by a strong offense, surprisingly. That will continue on Thursday night.
Pick: Stanford

Friday, October 16th
Cincinnati vs. BYU - ESPN, 8:00
Pick: BYU

24 Houston vs. Tulane - ESPNU, 9:00
Pick: Houston

21 Boise State vs. Utah State - CBSSN, 9:00
Pick: Boise State

UNLV vs. Fresno State - ESPN2, 10:30
Pick: Fresno State

Saturday, October 17th
Western Michigan vs. Ohio - ESPN3, 12:00
Pick: Ohio

Eastern Michigan vs. 22 Toledo - ESPN3, 12:00
Pick: Toledo

South Florida vs. Connecticut - ESPNU, 12:00
Pick: South Florida

Texas Tech vs. Kansas - FS1, 12:00
Pick: Texas Tech

Bucknell vs. Army - CBSSN, 12:00
Pick: Bucknell

West Virginia vs. 2 Baylor - Fox, 12:00
Pick: Baylor

17 Iowa vs. 20 Northwestern - ABC/ESPN2, 12:00
The Wildcats got crushed in Ann Arbor on Saturday, taking some shine off their promising start to 2015. I do still think they are the better team than Iowa and being at home certainly helps.
Pick: Northwestern

13 Ole Miss vs. Memphis - ABC/ESPN2, 12:00
The Rebels better not sleep on Memphis, who are very good and can certainly pull this upset off at home. And in fact, I think they will.
Pick: Memphis

Louisiana Tech vs. Mississippi State - SEC Network, 12:00
Pick: Mississippi State

Louisville vs. 11 Florida State - ESPN, 12:00
Pick: Florida State

Pittsburgh vs. Georgia Tech - ACC Network, 12:30
Pick: Pittsburgh

Buffalo vs. Central Michigan - ESPN3, 1:00
Pick: Central Michigan

Northern Illinois vs. Miami (OH) - ESPN3, 2:30

Akron vs. Bowling Green - ESPN3, 3:00

Georgia State vs. Ball State - ESPN3, 3:00
Pick: Ball State

Kent State vs. Massachusetts - ESPN3, 3:30
Pick: Massachusetts

Air Force vs. Colorado State - CBSSN, 3:30
Pick: Air Force

Idaho vs. Troy - ESPN3, 3:30
Pick: Troy

Virginia Tech vs. Miami (FL) - ESPNU, 3:30
Pick: Miami

10 Alabama vs. 9 Texas a&M - CBS, 3:30
The Crimson Tide struggled some against Arkansas at home before pulling away late, and this team simply doesn't look as powerful like Alabama teams past. This high powered Aggies offense will do just enough at home.
Pick: Texas A&M

Syracuse vs. Virginia - ESPN3, 3:30
Pick: Virginia

19 Oklahoma vs. Kansas State - ABC, 3:30
K-State came really close to pulling an upset against TCU at home, and I think they will do one better this week against Oklahoma
Pick: Kansas State

Rutgers vs. Indiana - BTN, 3:30
Pick: Indiana

7 Michigan State vs. 12 Michigan - ESPN, 3:30
How did Sparty almost lose to Rutgers? Nobody may know but we do know that this Michigan team is for real. That said, I still think that Michigan State is the better team and will get a big road win.
Pick: Michigan State

Nebraska vs. Minnesota - ESPN2, 3:30
Pick: Minnesota

Charlotte vs. Old Dominion - ASN, 3:30
Pick: Old Dominion

Vanderbilt vs. South Carolina - SEC Network, 4:00
Pick: South Carolina

Oregon State vs. Washington State - Pac-12 Networks, 4:00
Pick: Washington State

Nevada vs. Wyoming - ESPN3, 4:00
Pick: Nevada

New Mexico State vs. Georgia Southern - ESPN3, 6:00
Pick: Georgia Southern

Appalachian State vs. Louisiana Monroe - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: Appalachian State

Hawaii vs. New Mexico - Root Sports, 7:00
Pick: New Mexico

8 Florida vs. 6 LSU - ESPN, 7:00
Florida looks really good but are they good enough to go into Death Valley on a Saturday night and get the win? I'm not quite there just yet.
Pick: LSU

Wake Forest vs. North Carolina - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: North Carolina

Boston College vs. 5 Clemson - ESPNU, 7:00
Pick: Clemson

UTSA vs. Southern Miss - ASN, 7:00
Pick: Southern Miss

3 TCU vs. Iowa State - ESPN2, 7:00
Pick: TCU

UCF vs. Temple - CBSSN, 7:30
Pick: Temple

USC vs. 14 Notre Dame - NBC, 7:30
SC has been a real disappointment this season and I don't see that changing in South Bend.
Pick: Notre Dame

Missouri vs. Georgia - SEC Network, 7:30
Pick: Georgia

Penn State vs. 1 Ohio State - ABC, 8:00
The Buckeyes have had a number of close calls this season and I think you will see another one here. But that is only if Christian Hackenberg gets some help from his offensive line.
Pick: Ohio State

Arizona vs. Colorado - FS1, 9:00
Pick: Arizona

Arizona State vs. 4 Utah - ESPN, 10:00
Pick: Utah

Oregon vs. Washington - ESPN2, 10:30
