  1. Will Kevin Burkhardt be coming back or no because from what I've heard he's now going to do MLB so if he doesn't do NFL who'll be taking his place?

    1. I'm sure he will. Last year Sam Rosen filled in for him. I haven't found anything that says otherwise.

  2. Does anybody know if the pairing of Kenny, Moose, and Goose will stay the same? Because the announcing pairings aren't announced until August and it is only April.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It might be announced a little before that

      Delete
    2. The pairing of Kenny, Deal, and Goose will be different because David Diehl has been promoted from #4 to #3 analyst. And, Daryl "Moose" Johnston has been demoted to #4 analyst.

      Delete
    3. Don't listen to mars. He always make stuff up like that. I think Kenny, Moose, and Goose will still call games with each other but probably the list of announcers for CBS and Fox won't come out until at least mid-August. Plus Len Kasper ain't doing any games in which you would have believed.

      Delete
    4. Moose is terrible! YES THAT'S RIGHT! I think Kenny, Deal, and Goose will call games with each other on NFL on FOX. Plus Len Kasper could be #1 play-by-play. It is too stress for Joe Buck. Remember, he first called the NFL games in San Francisco. Then, he traveled less than a half hour to the San Francisco Giants game.

      Delete
    5. Mars124 please stop making stuff up will you? Ben, his comments are ridiculous, especially Len Kasper.

      Delete
    6. NOT SO FAST! JONATHAN ASHBECK! JOE BUCK IS CALLING THE GAME IN GOLF, AND BASEBALL. HE SHOULD BE DEMOTED TO #4 ANNOUNCING TEAM. CUBS ANNOUNCER LEN KASPER COULD BE #1 PLAY-BY-PLAY.

      Delete
    7. DONALD TRUMP COULD BE #1 PLAY-BY-PLAY TOO BY YOUR LOGIC!

  3. Is Thom Brennaman doing NFL action? I know Fox is not using him for MLB.

    1. I'm sure he is but I have not heard anything otherwise.

  4. For Fox's sake Kevin Burkhardt better return as they are not blessed with many great play-by-play announcers. Joe Buck is dodgy, Kenny Albert is banal, Thom Brennaman should stick to baseball. The only other decent PBP is Chris Myers and he normally gets exiled to the NFC South or some such outward post.

    1. I like Buck as an announcer (except that he's biased towards the St. Louis Cardinals), I like Albert - but he is boring. As for Brennaman, I really like him for both baseball and football. I haven't heard much of Myers, but from what I have heard he is a good announcer and I would listen to him.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, I like Myers too. I really like Ronde Barber. He's one heck of an announcer. I've heard those two a lot last year, especially on certain Viking home games and even the Packers-Buccaneers game in week 16.

      Delete
  5. Kevin Burkhardt might not because he'll do baseball assignments he'll probably be in the booth in September when Joe does football and back in the studio in October when it's time for playoffs

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He will most likely do what happened last year - Leave in October for MLB and Sam Rosen fill in for him

      Delete
  6. Or Tim Brando can take his place it be cool to see him calling NFL full time

    ReplyDelete
  7. Len Kasper could be the #1 play-by-play. John Lynch could be promoted to #1 analyst. Erin Andrews stays as a sideline reporter. Kevin Burkhardt stays as the #2 play-by-play. Troy Aikman could be demoted to #2 analyst. Pam Oliver stays as a sideline reporter. Kenny Albert would team up with soon to be promoted to #3 analyst David Diehl and sideline reporter Tony Siragusa as part of Albert-Deal and Goose, not Albert-Moose and Goose. Joe Buck, who called the Golf and MLB baseball games, should be demoted to #4 announcing team. He will team up with analyst Daryl Johnston and sideline reporter Laura Okmin. Chris Myers, Ronde Barber and Jennifer Hale stays as the fifth announcing team. Thom Brennaman should be demoted to #6 play-by-play. He teams up with Donovan McNabb as an analyst. Dick Stockton, Tim Brando, Mike Joy, Adam Alexander, Justin Kutcher, Sam Rosen, and Gus Johnson are these options of the seventh and eighth play-by-play.

In fact, since AA reported the exact same thing, I had a hunch that AA saw it there and reported it as such.

    2. Ben,

Anything about Brennaman since we know he isn't doing baseball action?

      Delete
    3. Everything I have heard is that he will be back for football.

      Delete
  9. The one guy I like to see call NFL action is Brian Anderson he pretty much does other sports action but NFL it be a lot of fun. If Brennaman doesn't come back Anderson can probably get the job.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well Anderson works for CBS's NFL coverage as he did a few bottom-tier games last season. He also isn't an employee of Fox.

      Delete
    2. Ben - he does do MLB on Fox but they're all Brewers games.

      Delete
    3. Ben, he does work for FSN Wisconsin and occasional Brewer games on Fox.

      Delete
    4. I understand that but working for an FSN is not the same as working for Fox and he does those Brewers Fox games not as a Fox employee but mostly as freelance. That's the same for all the local announcers they use.

    1. Ben,
Isn't that when they released them last year?

  13. It could be different this year with the Fox show lineup because there'll be 5 shows this year

    1. What do you mean by "shows?"

      Delete
  14. The Fox Funday Sunday lineup that includes Bobs Burgers The Simpsons Brooklyn Nine-Nine Family Guy and The Last Man On Earth so therefore they'll no longer be the OT you know the Fox Postgame show after a doubleheader

  15. My predictions, assuming same teams return
    1:00
Packers vs. Bears- Kenny, Moose and Goose
Seahawks vs. Rams- Brennamen, Diehl, Okmin

Saints vs. Cardinals- Buck, Aikman, Andrews
Lions vs. Chargers- Burkhardt, Lynch, Oliver

    1. I like your predictions, but I doubt Kenny Albert will call the Packers vs. Bears rivalry game. It'll most likely be Joe Buck calling that game.

    1. Even though its the Cowboys, I hope Joe, Troy and Erin does the Eagles Jets game week 3

      Delete
  17. I doubt Kevin Burkhardt comes back he'll probably be in the booth for baseball in September while Joe does NFL but Joe will be back doing baseball in October when it's time for the playoffs to start

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, who's gonna replace Burkhardt? All signs point to him coming back for NFL games this year (barring any surprises).

      Delete
    2. Burkhardt will be back he is the No. 2 play by play guy in September then he will do postseason coverage for now Ryan Field or whoever will fill in as the studio host for MLB games in September

      Delete
  18. I'd like to see Tim Brando or Justin Kutcher also Erin Andrews will be the full time NFL reporter which means she probably won't be the reporter when the MLB postseason starts

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think it's gonna work that way. Erin Andrews will most likely do what she did the past two years. She'll leave the NFL when MLB postseason starts, and then come back when the World Series is over, which will probably be around Week 9 or so.

      Delete
    2. They should replace her with JP Morosi he is as good of a baseball insider as Ken Rosenthal is but I doubt they wont

      Delete
  19. JP Morosi is a good baseball insider he and Ken Rosenthal are they should've had Morosi on the all star game instead of Erin Andrews she wasn't that good but I think he may be the reporter when Fox gets the ALCS and the World Series it be really cool will have to see what happens

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I hope so she is better off as an NFL Sideline Reporter to go with being Co-Host of Dancing with the Stars instead of working baseball coverage

  20. Is this site scared to use the word "Redskins?" Sick of the politics (liberal politics) here. It's not racist!

  22. Kevin Burkhardt and Joe Buck can probably do double duty on the weekend of September 19 and 20th because the Fox Saturday Baseball games will be in New York and Chicago on the 19th and the NFL games on the 20th I think It's possible because Joe did it 3 years ago for the Yankees and the New York Giants game and the 49ers and the San Francisco Giants game

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't think that is going to happen to Kevin Burkhardt and Joe Buck.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Maybe to Joe Buck because he's done it before Kevin Burkhardt will have to see what happens

    ReplyDelete
  25. Are the announcers out already? I'm kind of surprised.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not quite. Those are confirmations of which games whoever's gonna call via Twitter (Kenny Albert confirmed for TB/HOU in Week 3, and Chris Myers confirmed for WSH/ATL in week 5, etc.)

      Delete
    2. Yeah it's a little early yet.

      Delete
    3. They'll likely release the announcers within the next week or so.

      Delete
  26. So does this mean there will no longer be the OT you know the Postgame show after a doubleheader?

    ReplyDelete
  27. of course not anonymous there will always be a postgame show called the OT on FOX.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Also, Ben, (and everyone else), Chris Myers via Twitter that he and Ronde (Barber) will call MIN vs. CHI in week 8

    ReplyDelete

    1. And he's also calling Bucs/Saints in Week 2.

  30. The Postgame show it'll probably be like CBS after the doubleheader they'll talk for a few minutes then go straight to the shows

    ReplyDelete
  31. Chris Myers is "confirmed" for Panthers-Jaguars Week 1 and Saints-Panthers Week 3

  32. With Preseason right around the corner, any word on either CBS or Fox releasing their announcing teams?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We should be getting them pretty soon, perhaps even next week. At this point last year, we had already gotten both (Fox on August 6, CBS on June 10).

  33. Hey, Ben! FOX has released their broadcast teams today. And it's confirmed that the Kenny, Moose, & Goose trio will indeed be broken up this year. Laura Okmin is the new sideline reporter.

  34. Also Justin Kutcher confirmed to me he will fill in for Thom Brennaman when Brennaman fills in for Joe Buck when he does MLB Postseason as for who will fill in for Kevin Burkhardt maybe Sam Rosen, Tim Brando, Joe Davis we won't know until the end of September

    ReplyDelete
  35. You can pretty much take it to the bank that Brennaman and Aikman will do Seahawks-Cowboys Nov. 1st b/c the World Series goes from Oct. 27th - Nov. 4th

    ReplyDelete
  36. The Brennaman/Davis team has been confirmed for the following games:

    Week 2: Cardinals vs. Bears
    Week 3: 49ers vs. Cardinals
    Week 4: Rams vs. Cardinals
    Week 5: Seahawks vs. Bengals

  37. I'd be interested to see who would call Packers-49ers other than Joe Buck. It could be either Chris Myers/Ronde Barber or Dick Stockton/David Diehl IF Joe Buck and Troy Aikman call Vikings-Broncos.

    1. Nope, Chris Myers has just tweeted he's got Panthers/Bucs in Week 4.

Also, Kenny Albert confirmed via Twitter he's got SF/PIT in Week 2 & ARI/DET in Week 5.

    3. Then I am going with Stockton and Diehl for Packers 49ers in week 4 with Buck and Aikman doing Vikings Broncos that same week. That's my guess.

Week 5 will probably be Kutcher and Davis. The MLB Division Series is going on that day as Buck would do one of those. Thom would have to go to Aikman

  48. of course, these predictions are games before they are cross-flexed

    ReplyDelete

    1. For sure. It will be interesting which games gets cross-flexed between CBS and FOX. Any predictions?

      Delete
  49. As far week 5 goes, I don't see anything that screams cross-flexing. Anybody else agree? If you disagree, which games seem like cross-flexing worthy?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Tamir. I agree with you on that.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Some cross-flexing weeks might be 6 (Fox has only 4 games that week; CBS has 7), and 8 (CBS has only 4 games that week; Fox has 7)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You are definitely on to something about weeks 6 and 8 and I also don't see any cross-flexing for week 5 considering Fox's singleheader slate is not bad for 5 games. Usually for the cross-flex we see a game that needs more coverage than it would otherwise get. Therefore, could see something like Bengals-Bills or Dolphins-Titans sliding to Fox in week 6 and then in week 8, choices are a little less appealing so then maybe something like Buccaneers-Falcons.

  52. In Week 4 of the 2015, Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch and Pam Oliver will call the Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins. Meanwhile, Dick Stockton and David Diehl will call the Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos game.

    1. Mars, you got the two games flip flopped. You were close though. Burkhardt and Lynch will be at Denver meanwhile Stockton and Diehl will be at Washington for your information.

  53. Hey, do you have a source that you got this info from?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Mars is always wrong but since the Eagles are 0-2 Redskins 1-1 I think Dick Stockton & David Diehl calls that game & Kevin Burkhardt & John Lynch will call the Vikings vs Broncos

  55. I have a STRONG feeling that Brennaman/Aikman/Andrews will call ARI@PIT in Week 6, with the caveat that the game does not get flexed to either CBS or NBC SNF (Brennaman will be filling in for Buck due to the MLB playoffs).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. UPDATE: Erin Andrews also might have a fill-in, since she will likely be working the MLB playoffs.

      Delete
    2. Charissa Thompson could be her fill in she filled in last year for Andrews

      Delete
    3. Doubt it. I think it's gonna be either newcomer Holly Sonders or somebody else filling in for Andrews during the MLB playoffs

      Delete
    4. Not many people know who Sonders is and more people know Thompson and she did a nice job filling in for Andrews

    1. No. I think he's right about Was and Phi being called by Burkhardt and Lynch, and Min and Den being called by Stockton and Diehl.

  58. Well now there is conflicting info regarding the MIN@DEN game in Week 4. According to the Broncos weekly game release (see link below this sentence), Burkhardt/Lynch/Oliver are listed as the announcers:

    1. Actually Buck confirmed that He and Aikman will do Seahawks-Bengals in Week 5.

      Delete
    2. Buck might not call it unless Game 3 of the ALDS is on MLB Network then he might

      Delete
  62. I think Sam Rosen/John Lynch/Pam Oliver will get CAR@SEA in Week 6. Like Joe Buck, Kevin Burkhardt will also have a fill-in due to the MLB playoffs, and Rosen would be the one filling in for Burkhardt.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I would say Sam Rosen/John Lynch/Pam Oliver will call the Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks in Week 6.

      Delete
    5. Why not Packers & Panthers they have great records Lol

      Delete
    6. I understand that but usually Chris Myers does NFC South Games, especially Panthers games so I'm suspecting he is doing Panthers Packers with Buck and Aikman doing Redskins Patriots.

    1. He'll be working the ALDS Rangers-Blue Jays series in lieu of Buck.

    2. Because Albert will be calling the ALDS playoff series this week.

    3. Wow I'm surprised is this the 1st time Albert has called Postseason Baseball that you know of Ben

  68. I think Joe Buck should do playoffs this year like he does every year.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think that Sam Rosen, John Lynch, and Pam Oliver will be calling Panthers/Seahawks in Week 6.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Rosen and Lynch are pretty much heading to Seattle for Week 6 and Indianapolis for Week 7, the other crews are confirmed pretty much.

    ReplyDelete
  71. When Erin Andrews is away doing the 2015 MLB playoffs, I believe that Tony Siragusa would be available to fill-in for her on Week 6's Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers while Thom Brennaman fills-in for Joe Buck along with analyst Troy Aikman. But on Weeks 7 and 8, it's hard for me to tell that who's in for Erin Andrews.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Now the question is will it be Tim Brando,Gus Johnson,or Joe Davis as the emergency announcer in rare cases of eight games being on the slate?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Could be Gus Johnson if it is after college football season (like last season with Week 17). Also, don't rule out Justin Kutcher either.

    2. On Week 8, Chris Cooley will work with reporter Danielle Trotta and not sure which play-by-play during the Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns game. Matt Millen will be calling the Big Ten Network game, and he is not available to fill-in for Sam Rosen.

  75. Mars you are intrusive and you are a goofball.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Well, in Week 7, play-by-play Joe Buck and sideline reporter Erin Andrews are away on assignment doing MLB playoffs. Thom Brennaman will fill-in for Joe Buck while Peter Schrager fills-in for Erin Andrews during the Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants game.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Will you knock it off Mars.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I am trying to knock it off, but somebody put Joe Buck and Erin Andrews on the Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants on Week 7. I think it is Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman and Peter Scrager doing the Cowboys-Giants game.

      Delete
    2. Yeah I think Mars is right actually...it wouldn't make sense for Buck and Andrews to do it right in the middle of the MLB playoffs

      Delete
    3. Well Buck himself confirmed that he will be doing that game on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Buck/status/654774163589107713). A potential Blue Jays-Royals Game 7 would be on that Saturday so there is no conflict.

And this has happened before so there is a precedent (although the example that comes to mind was when he did those two San Francisco games in a day).

      Delete
  78. Why is buck doing the Cowboys-Giants game? Shouldn't it be Brennaman?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There is no baseball scheduled for that day at the moment with a potential Blue Jays-Royals coming on that Saturday. In that case, why not have him travel to do what is usually one of the most watched Fox games of the year?

      Delete
    2. So what game is brennaman doing? It looks like kutcher is going the games with Davis and siragusa

      Delete
    3. Kutcher had confirmed that game before the season but now with Buck working a game, we could see Brennaman doing that game and now Kutcher off. We should find out more in the next couple of days.

      Delete
  79. anyone see who's crossing the pond to call DET/KC to start November for that game

  84. WEEK 9: Barring flexible scheduling, I think Buck/Aikman/Andrews will get GB@CAR, while Burkhardt/Lynch/Oliver will get WAS@NE during that same week.

    ReplyDelete
  85. WEEK 8: Matt Smith will call the play-by-play, Chris Cooley will analyst and Danielle Trotta will do the reporting on the Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns's game.

  87. I think Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch will call the Redskins at Patriots for Week 9.

    ReplyDelete
  88. With Buck/Aikman/Andrews heading to Minnesota in week 11, it's almost certain that the Packers/Vikings will be the lead game that week and will be moved to 4:25..
