2015 MLB on FS1 Schedule

Major League Baseball action returns to Fox Sports 1 this season with weekly coverage of the National Pastime all season long. Save for a game a couple of games on Tuesdays, and a game apiece on Thursday and Friday, the vast majority of FS1's coverage will be on Saturdays, effectively complementing the coverage on Fox. Here's the 2015 schedule.

  1. I will say Thom Brennaman will announce every Reds game on this list.

  2. Will Gary Thorne be calling Orioles games on fs1 or fox this year?

    1. Maybe because he has done the last couple of years.

  3. Why aren't there any Blue Jays games on either of the lists?

    1. I've only seen the blue jays on fox once in since 1996

      Delete
  4. And 2013 when Tampa Bay Rays played them when Tampa bay was a threat for the wild card Dewayne Staats and Brian Anderson called that game

    ReplyDelete
  5. Will Joe Buck call the Red Sox and Yankees game on April 11th?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Would Eric Karros be on the Royals and Angels game with Kenny Albert?

  7. Is Tim Brando going to call games I know Joe Davis will it be cool to see Brando call a few

    1. While I can't rule anything out (and Brando has done baseball before although not in 20 years), I would be highly surprised if he does any games. But I do agree, it would be fun to see.

  8. My guess is probably Justin Kutcher & Eric Karros on 4/18 for Yankees/Rays because you know Kenny Albert will be doing the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

    1. Well Kenny is still doing an FS1 game on Saturday, O's-Red Sox.

  9. Maybe Joe Davis Brian Anderson and Jon Morosi can get the Yankees and Rays game

  10. Hey Ben,
    1. Tom Verducci will be doing BAL-BOS this Saturday with Kenny Albert and Ken Rosenthal.
    2. Justin Kutcher and Brian Anderson will work NYY-TB this Saturday as well.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Kenny Albert confirmed during BAL-BOS telecast that himself, Verducci, and Rosenthal will be at Yankee Stadium to call Mets-Yankees on April 25. Wonder why Buck isn't doing that game. (It is a Subway Series game after all, he did some of these in the past.) Buck, after all, selects his games, and selects which games other broadcasters will do......

    Replies
    1. I doubt Buck selects the games other broadcasters do.

  12. Thom Brennaman will probably call the Reds vs Braves game on May 2nd and I bet Cj Nitowski will be there to

    ReplyDelete
  13. You sure Kutcher is doing Reds vs. Braves May 2nd? Brennaman is broadcasting the Reds game on FS Ohio.

  14. Hey Ben, next week's MLB on FS1 announcers
1:00 PM- Royals vs. Tigers (Joe Davis and Eric Karros)
4:00 PM- Braves vs. Nationals (Justin Kutcher, C.J Nitkwoski, and Ken Rosenthal)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Well, Kutcher confirmed that during Cincinnati-Atlanta on Saturday. That he and Nitkowski will be in Washington. Davis confirmed the other assignment during the Indians-Tigers game a few weeks back.

    1. Oh okay good looking out

  16. Any predictions for May 16th mined
ATL-MIA: Justin Kutcher or Joe Davis, Eric Karros or C.J Nitkowski
PIT-CHC: Kenny Albert or Thom Brennaman or Joe Buck, Tom Verducci, Ken Rosenthal
(likely Buck won't these games, but hey anything can happen) (the pairings can mix and match)

  17. How is Brian Anderson even though he calls Brewers games is able to call a game on Fox Sports 1 when is employed by CBS Sports & Turner

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's a freelance gig since he does Brewers games so I don't think Turner would have any issues with it.

      Delete
    2. That's weird so he's similar to Kenny Albert who also works for NHL on NBC and Rangers radio announcer

      Delete
    3. Well not exactly. Albert's MSG contract has no bearings on his Fox work and clearly Fox doesn't have an issue with Albert doing the NBC work (which isn't freelance).

      Delete
  18. The Rangers and Royals game is going to be on June 6th not June 5th

    ReplyDelete
  19. Will Gary Cohen call the Red Sox and Mets game in August

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. While I don't have anything to dismiss it immediately, I would be pretty surprised if that were to happen. At least to me (and then watch me be wrong) but I think that has Kenny Albert written all over it.

      Delete
  20. It should be Kevin Burkhardt or Tim Brando calling it it probably be cool to see either one of those two

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. With his studio duties, I don't think we'll be seeing Burkhardt doing too many games although I would like to see it since he's good on that end. I would like to see Brando do a game but he hasn't done a baseball, to my knowledge, in years. Probably last when he was with the Braves in 1997.

  21. Will Ernie Johnson call a game this year on FS1

    ReplyDelete
  22. My guess is probably Joe Davis and Brian Anderson for Rays/Yankees on July 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anybody know who are doing the games on July 18th?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. To answer that.....
LAD-WSH: TBD (I think Buck, Verducci, Reynolds)
CLE-CIN: Joe Davis and C.J. Nitkowski

      Delete
    2. Why isn't Brennaman doing Indians vs. Reds?

      Delete
  24. He's only working as a freelance not as an Fox employee

    ReplyDelete
  25. Any idea of who will commentate on games on July 25th

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'll assume Joe Davis does A's vs. Giants

  26. Hey, everyone, here is some info from user salty73 on the 506 Forums (this is confirmed), for upcoming telecasts on Fox Sports 1.

  27. Hey, Ben, don't forget about Ken Rosenthal on the ATL-STL telecast on July 25th with Davis and Verducci

    ReplyDelete
  28. And on July 28th with Burkhardt and Verducci as well

    ReplyDelete
  29. So will that mean Ryan Field be the studio host on July 28th?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey, everyone, if you saw Angels-Dodgers today on Fox Sports 1, it's a Angels TV/"Fox MLB" simlucast of Victor Rojas and Mark Gubickza (using some of Angels TV ads and stuff), so scratch out Vasgersian and Karros

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So I've heard. I'm out for a vacation so I wasn't able to update earlier.

      Delete
    2. Any idea why that was? Vasgersian and Karros were on the press release to do the game.

      Delete
  31. Is Brian Anderson calling the Cardinals and Brewers game on FOX Sports 1 on Saturday

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think it's happen before when the Diamondbacks were playing the Dodgers back in 2014 when they had Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly on the call were they used Diamondbacks ads and stuff

    ReplyDelete

(Los Angeles Dodgers at Pittsburgh Pirates): Justin Kutcher and Preston Wilson
