2015 MLB on Fox Schedule

This is the 20th season of Major League Baseball coverage on Fox Sports and like last season's slate, it will be a shorter schedule than we have seen in the past. It will begin Memorial Day weekend with primetime games until the All-Star Game, then it will return in mid-September for the stretch run to the postseason. But Fox Sports 1 will be having coverage all season long, filling in the Fox blanks.

Here is the schedule, to be filled in with announcers all season long, for 2015.

    1. That's right. I pulled this list together from MLB.com before Fox released their schedule today. Therefore, I'm updating it now as such.

    2. Is that JOE MORGAN on the ALLSTAR Game? If so, he was TERRIBLE in Little League World Series and they finally got him off that.........Now tell Joe to shut up and let us enjoy the game......Someone at FOX please count his words per hour against the others.....its got to be 3:1 ratio OR WORSE.....Get him OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. No Rangers games I can see why there's no June 20th because of women's Fifa World Cup coverage

  3. Would Kevin Burkhardt be taking Joe Bucks place in the booth when Joe does NFL coverage or will it be other announcers I do know Kevin will be the primary studio host this year

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No - Joe leaves the NFL games and does MLB in October. Brennaman takes over with Troy Aikman for NFL games.

      Delete
  4. I will say Thom Brennaman will announce every Reds game on this list.

    1. Nope i guarantee you he calls at least 1 game that's not the Reds #BoldPrediction

  5. I'm saying in September Burkhardt might be in the booth because Joe does come back in October

    ReplyDelete
  6. Will Matt Vasgersian and John Smoltz and Jon Morosi be teaming up again for games or is that towards the end of the season?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think that will be until the end of the season, namely those Fox games in September like last year, and then the playoffs. Fox never made it clear a year ago but some observers had guessed that they wouldn't be used until then with Buck on the NFL.

  7. What about Burkhardt will he be taking over for Joe or will it be like last year he'll come back in October?

  8. Did I miss something ..... how do YOU know that Ken Rosenthal will games in May & June?????

    1. He said so himself.

  9. You have cardinals vs. reds on sept 12 and sept 19th.

  10. Why isn't Brennaman or Dick Stockton calling games?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nobody knows why Brennaman isn't. Not sure about Stockton, but I think he did not call any games last year.

      Delete
  11. Will Gary Thorne or Rich Waltz call the Orioles and Marlins game or will it be someone else?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That would be my guess - either one of them.

      Delete
    2. Fox has used Waltz a decent amount before and they've also used Thorne for O's games as well. Considering it's going to be the least distributed game, you could see a crew like Rich Waltz and Billy Ripken or something like that.

  12. Now for the Matt Vasgersian and John Smoltz pairing I saw Jon Morosi isn't on there will it be like last year Morosi is the reporter for them in September and October for playoffs?

    Replies
    1. I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise to this point.

      Delete
  13. I hope Thom Brennaman does Reds vs. Cubs June 13th

    ReplyDelete
  14. It says that Cj Nitowski is doing two games which one will he be doing?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Are you going to do a distribution map?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Let's do some guesses:

    6/13
    NYY-OAK Buck, Reynolds, Verducci
    ARZ-SF Davis, Karros
    CIN-CHC Kasper, Nitkowski

    6/27
    SEA-LAA Goldsmith, Nitkowski
    CLE-BAL Albert, Karros
    CHC-STL Buck, Reynolds, Verducci

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey Ben, Len will be with Karros on the 13th in Chicago and Goldsmith doesn't have a game until July 4th in KC.

      Delete
    2. Well,6/13 is NYY-BAL,not NYY-OAK.

      Delete
    3. Good call Michael, thanks! And my bad on the OAK-BAL mixup.

      Delete
  17. I say Gary Thorne and Billy Ripken will call the Indians and Orioles game on June 27th

    ReplyDelete
  18. Maybe Thom Brennaman will do Brewers vs. Reds on July 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  19. nyy at bal buck Reynolds verducci Rosenthal diamondbacks at giants thom brennaman cliff Floyd cin at chc kasper karros

    ReplyDelete
  20. MLB on Fox 6/13
NYY-BAL: Kenny Albert, Tom Verducci, Ken Rosenthal
    ARI-SF: Joe Davis, Bob Brenly
    CIN-CHC: Len Kasper, Eric Karros

    ReplyDelete
  21. This was on Brennaman's Wikipedia page:

"In 2015, Fox hired Joe Davis (full-time) and Aaron Goldsmith (full-time). So, Fox replaced Brennaman on the #2 crew with Kenny Albert (who will work with Brennaman's partner for several years, Eric Karros), ending his 19 year run there. Brennaman will work still MLB games for Fox moving forward, but only as a fill-in."

So it sounds like Fox shoved him aside for Davis and Goldsmith.

    1. does anyone know if that's accurate

      Delete
  22. For the Yankees vs Red Sox game it should be Joe Harold and Tom the Nationals and Orioles game it should be Gary Thorne and F.P Santangelo and the Cardinals and Pirates Justin Kutcher and Eric Karros it's not a bad lineup considering that's Fox final weekend before coming back in September when the playoffs get closer

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That sounds pretty accurate.

      Delete
  23. MLB on Fox 7/11
NYY-BOS: Kenny Albert, Harold Reynolds, Tom Verducci, Ken Rosenthal
    WSH-BAL: Gary Thorne, F.P Santangelo
    STL-PIT: Matt Vasgersian, John Smoltz

  24. For the all star game it will be Joe Harold Tom Ken and Jon Paul Morosi

    ReplyDelete
  25. I am surprised that Erin Andrews isn't doing the All-Star Game, but Jon Morosi has good as a reporter on MLB on Fox/FS1 over the past year or so.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey Ben have you found out who's calling the games in September or is it going to be like last year we all know Ryan Field will be the studio host but is Gary Thorne calling the Royals and Orioles game?

    ReplyDelete
  27. FOX is also broadcasting Blue Jays @ Yankees on September 12.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well who calls that one it only shows only Royals and Orioles Cardinals and Reds.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So does this means Fox will have a triple header on September 12th then?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't know who calls that one. Yes, FOX will have a triple header on September 12th.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I say for the Cardinals Vs Reds it'll probably be Justin Kutcher and Cj Nitowski Blue Jays vs Yankees it'll be Matt Vasgersian John Smoltz and JP Morosi and the Royals and Orioles Gary Thorne Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal and for the game on Fox Sports 1 I think it'll be maybe Aaron Goldsmith

    ReplyDelete
  32. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal will probably most likely do the Yankees and the Mets game while Thom Brennaman and Cj Nitowski do the Cardinals and Cubs game it's not a bad lineup considering both Thom and Kevin are going to be at those locations that weekend when they're doing NFL games.

    ReplyDelete
  33. justin kutcher calling cubs cardinals?

    ReplyDelete
  34. cubs cardinals annoucers september 19th 2015?

    ReplyDelete
  35. It should be opposite that in September 12th Royals vs Orioles brocasters should be Gary Thorne, Preston Wilson and Blue Jays vs Yankees should be Matt Vasgersian, John Smoltz, Jon Paul Morosi.

    ReplyDelete
  36. For Cardinals and Cubs game it'll probably be Thom Brennaman and Cj Nitowski on the call I know Thom is a free lance for MLB coverage but he'll be in Chicago that weekend calling the Bears game and the Yankees and Mets game it'll be Kevin Burkhardt Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal

    ReplyDelete
  37. any but brennaman calling cubs cardinals

    ReplyDelete
  38. Are you sure Gary Thorne and Matty V. are switching series from their Friday night assignments with MASN and MLB Network? That wouldn't make sense.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So that is wrong.Gary Thorne will broadcast Royals vs. Orioles.Matt Vasgersian will broadcast Blue Jays vs. Yankees.

      Delete
    2. Yeah I'm not sure how I botched that.

      Delete
  39. Matt Vasgersian John Smoltz and JP Morosi will call the Royals and Tigers game September 19th on FS1

    ReplyDelete
  40. Did the Royals and Tigers game get moved from FS1 to Fox?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Is Joe Buck or Kevin Burkhardt going to call the Yankees and Mets game on FOX September 19th

    ReplyDelete
  42. Kevin Burkhardt Joe Buck will be in Philadelphia calling the Cowboys and Eagles game

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jon Paul Morosi was the SLR for CIN-CHC on June 13th, MIA-CHC on July 4th, and STL-PIT on July 11th

    ReplyDelete
  44. Matt Vasgersian and John Smoltz will call Yankees at Mets and Len Kasper and Eric Karros will call the Cardinals at Cubs game.

    ReplyDelete
  45. cubs pirates sept 26th on fox

    ReplyDelete
  46. For the Cubs Pirates game on the 26th it'll be Matt Vasgersian John Smoltz and JP Morosi the Rangers and Astros game it'll be Kenny Albert Eric Karros and Ken Rosenthal the game on FS1 it'll be Aaron Goldsmith and Tom Verducci

    ReplyDelete
  47. Will Kenny Albert Eric Karros and Ken Rosenthal call the Rangers and Astros game on September 26th?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ben, some info on September 26th:
Cubs - Pirates, flip them around, game is CHI, not PIT
Matt Vasgersian, John Smoltz, and Jon Paul Morosi will PIT - CHC (Vasgersian confirmed this during September 19th game between NYY and NYM)
Ken Rosenthall will call TEX - HOU (Rosenthal confirm this on Twitter, I don't who he will working with)

    ReplyDelete
  49. It'll probably be Kenny Albert and Eric Karros

    ReplyDelete
  50. Lol to you guys that thought Kenny Albert was gonna call the Rangers & Astros game lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ben, a sports reporter at KDFW in Dallas confirmed on Twitter that LAA/TEX got picked up by Fox for a 1 pm EST start on October 3.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Aaron Goldsmith Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal will be on the call for that game
