2014 NFL Playoff Projections: Week 17

The penultimate week in the 2014 NFL regular season did clear up much of dust in the playoff picture but there are still a handful of clubs, particularly in the AFC, that are still alive. Four teams are battling for the final AFC wild card spot (San Diego, Baltimore, Houston and Kansas City) and divisional crowns in both conferences still need to be decided. How will this week's results answer the questions? Here are my projections.

2014 NFL on CBS Announcers & Distribution: Week 17

As has been the case since 2006, both networks will have the doubleheader in Week 17. For CBS Sports, there are seven games on hand. The early games are Jets-Dolphins, Bills-Patriots, Browns-Ravens, Colts-Titans and Chargers-Chiefs. The late games are Raiders-Broncos and Panthers-Falcons. It is the final week of the regular season and that means that both networks have a doubleheader. For Fox, there are eight games on tap. In the early window you have got Eagles-Giants, Cowboys-Washington, Bears-Vikings, Saints-Buccaneers and Jaguars-Texans. In the national window, the games are Cardinals-49ers, Rams-Seahawks and Lions-Packers. Here we are, the final week of the 2014 NFL season. You have got teams trying to get into the playoffs, teams trying to end their seasons on the right note and potentially teams playing for a higher draft pick.
