2014-15 Bowl Projections: Week 10

The initial College Football Playoff rankings are out. Of course, nobody asked for the committee to provide weekly rankings considering they are basically meaningless, but alas. Therefore, this seems this as good as time as any to do my first bowl projections for the 2014. Let's take a look.

2014 NFL Predictions: Week 9

This week will not only mark the month of November but it will also note the second half of the season. We have seen much action already in this season and we saw plenty of it this past week. From a bizarre finish in London, in the morning nonetheless, to some exciting finishes in Cincinnati and Glendale, to a stunner on Monday night in Landover. With all of that in mind, here are my Week 9 picks.

The 2014-15 NBA season kicks off tonight, and you can read my season preview here. With that in mind, let's gaze into the crystal ball (literally or figuratively) and preview who may be getting some hardware come season's end.

2014 College Football Predictions: Week 10

College football keeps on rolling around and now this week, we will have the inaugural College Football Playoff weekly rankings. As to why they will release rankings, I still don't know but hey, it does give the folks something to talk about. Your collegiate football predictions for this week, right now.

2014-15 NBA Predictions

So not much has changed on the NBA landscape since the Spurs won their fifth title in 15 years back in June. Only LeBron James signed with the Cavaliers, then eventually brought Kevin Love to town as well. The Clippers got some new ownership, at a cool cost of $2 billion. Some free agency here, some free agency there and yet, everybody is chasing the Spurs. Who will win it all come June? It's time for my 2014-15 NBA predictions.

This weekend is the first one of November, and it's also Halloween weekend so how about that? Plus, it is also the ninth week of the 2014 NFL season and this Sunday, it is CBS Sports with the doubleheader. There are five games on the docket (San Diego-Miami, NYJ-Kansas City and Jacksonville-Cincinnati in the early window; Denver-New England and Oakland-Seattle in the national). For those of you that missed Joe Buck working with Troy Aikman, Kevin Burkhardt working with John Lynch and Thom Brennaman working with David Diehl, fear not as with the World Series concluding this week, all regular NFL guys will be back. Fox has the singleheader this Sunday with a quintet of games (Arizona-Dallas, Philadelphia-Houston, Washington-Minnesota, Tampa Bay-Cleveland and St. Louis-San Francisco). With the calendar hitting November, here are the announcers and distribution for Week 9.

It is time for some roundball rock on Fanatic Radio as Mike and Ben break down the 2014-15 NBA season from LeBron James returning to a championship-favorite Cleveland squad to the Los Angeles Clippers bringing in more than just an enthusiastic owner.
