2014 MLB on Fox Announcers & Distribution: September 13th

More baseball action will be headed your way this Saturday afternoon with another edition of MLB on Fox. A pair of games featuring playoff contenders in the Eastern divisions of both leagues will be shown to the country. Most folks will see the Yankees facing off with the Orioles at the Yards while others will see the Braves visiting the Rangers in Arlington. Game coverage begins at 1:00 Eastern and then on Saturday night, Fox Sports 1 will air a showdown between NL West powerhouses San Diego and Arizona (forgive me for my tongue-in-cheek commentary). 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup Predictions: Challenger Round

(USATSI)
The 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup kicks off this Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway and more importantly, it is the debut of the new Chase format. For those who may need a refresher, 16 drivers are now in the mix for the title and will compete in the Challenger Round, the first three races of the Chase. 12 drivers will advance to the Contender Round with all winners advancing and the remaining spots decided by points. Eight drivers will move on from the Contender Round to the Eliminator Round after the next three races with all winners advancing. The Eliminator Round will be the following three races and the field will be whittled from eight drivers to four, who will run for the Cup at Homestead-Miami on November 16. Got that?

So unlike years past, I will make my Chase predictions for each round and with that, here are my predictions for the Contender Round and the races at Chicagoland, New Hampshire and Dover.

2014 NFL Predictions: Week 2

(Getty)
Well Week 1 of the 2014 NFL season was pretty good, right? After all we had a number of exciting finishes, a pair of matchups going to overtime and one punt returner kicking a punter in the face. Yes, football is back. But now the bigger question is, how will Week 2 top all of this? Here are my predictions.

2014 College Football Predictions: Week 3

Can we really top a week in which we have a school's athletic director run onto his team's sideline in order to yell at the referees? The situation surrounding Pat Haden's actions are still a little uncertain but Haden has been fined and reprimanded for his actions. Regardless, the whole thing was more than a little ridiculous, and funny as well. So there's that.

The Trojans are in action on Saturday night in Chestnut Hill against Boston College so you know all eyes will be on Mr. Haden with everybody hoping he pulls something even more off the wall. Here are my Week 3 picks.
