  1. Thank you WVLT Knoxville for subjecting us to Colts @ Titans and Raiders @ Broncos when Chargers @ Chiefs and Panthers @ Falcons determine playoffs.

    1. Unfortunately that is the way it goes when it comes to the home team and blackout rules. Trust me, I don't want to be sitting here in New England watching a meaningless Patriots-Bills game either, and be told that I need to pay for the NFL package or go to a bar. However, I se what you mean in regards to Broncos-Raiders: there are implications for Denver, as they could lose a bye, but come on- how likely is it that they'd lose at home to Oakland? No reason for this game to be telecast anywhere outside Denver and Oakland regions as opposed to Panthers-Falcons. Moreover, CBS could always switch the game if there is a blowout- then again, for some idiotic reason, they showed that Colts catastrophe vs the Cowboys right thru the coach's handshake as Buffalo was fighting for their playoff lives in a close one vs Oakland. Blows my mind...

    2. Good reply. I can live with Colts @ Titans but Raiders @ Broncos is really pissing me off. I will tell you how bad it is in Knoxville. Because Peyton Manning played at UT, Knoxville got the Broncos designated as a second home market. We automatically get any Broncos game available after the Titans and we also do not switch out when the margin is above 25 points. It is totally ridiculous. I actually live closer to Atlanta than Nashville so to be shut out of a "win and in" game for the NFC South because it was given to CBS instead of FOX is beyond belief.

    1. They are only required to air road games. A couple of weeks ago Chattanooga dumped Jets @ Titans for Steelers @ Falcons.

  6. I don't get why Nantz and Simms called the Falcons-Panthers game in Atlanta in week 17. It's a regional game.
