    1. I've heard he wants to be home for the holidays and since the Sun Bowl is earlier than in the past and comes right on the heels of Christmas.

    2. It should be noted this isn't the first time they've done this either. Just two years ago (2012) Andrew Catalon called the Sun Bowl, and that game was o the usual day and time.
