  1. Nice helmet/logo for the Burgundy and Gold. I wish they'd go back to that logo and helmet. Thanks for posting.

    1. Thanks! I do try to mix it up with the logos are you can tell and it seemed like a good one to use.

  2. Why is Kutcher with Diehl and why is Brennaman and McNabb paired together and doing the lead game ?

  3. Ewww. Why would Philly FOX go with Wash/Indy over Pittsburgh/New Orleans? So the tri-state area is stuck with NY Giants/Jax and Wash/Indy. Looks like I will be going to the bar.

  4. What's interesting to me is FOX is putting Saints/ Steelers as the #1 game for the nation when apparently they will have Burkhardt, Lynch, & Oliver at the Cards/ Falcons game. By process of elimination they'd have to be at that game sine every other team is listed here.

As for the #6 team Dick Stockton is calling college football this week, which is why they needed a replacement there. Apparently Brennaman is the rotational guy, as he moved up in place of Buck during the World Series and now moves down in place of Stockton. Kutcher has filled in for that team all year.

    1. Yeah I fully believe that Burkhardt and Lynch will be in Glendale. But how they decided on the Saints-Steelers crew, I have no idea. Why split up Brennaman from Diehl and then why to put him with McNabb then, and then on the top distributed game?

Kutcher has generally been the top alternate on college games, as he's worked a handful games with Coy Wire, so it also seems odd to me that they have him essentially filling in for Stockton, and then have Stockton do a college game.

    2. could be experimentation. Maybe they are high on Kutcher, or low on Diehl, or high on McNabb (ok it's likely not that last scenario).

  5. I answered that. Brennaman is the regular rotational guy, and Thompson is the rotational sideline reporter, which is why they replaced Buck & Andrews during weeks 6-8. With Stockton, Quinn, & Pink calling a collegiate game this week, they used those rotational clauses to move them to the #6 game with McNabb. They then moved Kutcher into Brennaman's spot as they did weeks 6-8.

And FYI- the state of Texas is getting Indianapolis/ Washington, not Carolina/Minnesota. I checked that with my local FOX station (Odessa) as well as the Dallas and El Paso Fox TV listings. All 3 have down Indianapolis/ Washington.

  6. Ok, FOX release today shows Austin, Dallas & San Antonio get New Orleans/ Pittsburgh. Yet local listings show Indianapolis/Washington. Either way Texas isn't getting Carolina/Minnesota.

    1. That was a typo on my end in my listings, I thought I was writing the Texas affiliates as getting Washington-Indianapolis but now the state sans Houston will indeed get Saints-Steelers.

  7. Wouldn't the team of Brennaman and McNabb be considered the #2 team for FOX this week? since they are calling the primary game this Sunday.
