2014 College Football Predictions: Week 13

(Getty)
There are only a few more weeks until the regular season concludes but there is still a whole lot to be decided across the college football landscape. We've got some more big games this week, who will come out on top in the race for the Playoff? Here are my picks.

Tuesday, November 18th
Massachusetts vs. Akron - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: Akron

Northern Illinois vs. Ohio - ESPNU, 8:00
The Huskies are better on both sides of the ball and will show it in Athens.
Pick: Northern Illinois

Wednesday, November 19th
Kent State vs. Buffalo - ESPNU, 8:00
Pick: Buffalo

Bowling Green vs. Toledo - ESPN2, 8:00
Heck of a matchup, and we do love #Maction. I do think Toledo can control the clock with Kareem Hunt and Terry Swanson and they'll pull it out.
Pick: Toledo

Thursday, November 20th
Kansas State vs. West Virginia - Fox Sports 1, 7:00
The Mountaineers can move the ball on anybody, but Kansas State will keep the ball away from them just enough.
Pick: Kansas State

North Carolina vs. Duke - ESPN, 7:30
Not sure how Duke lost to Virginia Tech last week but they will bounce back to win the Victory Bell.
Pick: Duke

Arkansas State vs. Texas State - ESPNU, 9:30
In a key matchup in the Belt as both come off disappointing losses to Appalachian State and South Alabama respectively, I think the Red Wolves have a slight edge on both sides of the ball and will win in San Marcos.
Pick: Arkansas State

Friday, November 21st
UTEP vs. Rice - Fox Sports 1, 8:00
I really like how UTEP has been looking the last month and I think they will keep it up in Houston.
Pick: UTEP

San Jose State vs. Utah State - ESPN2, 9:30
Pick: Utah State

Air Force vs. San Diego State - CBS Sports Network, 9:30
Pick: Air Force

Saturday, November 22nd
Kansas vs. Oklahoma - Fox Sports 1, 12:00
The Jayhawks somehow came very close to taking out TCU at home, but that certainly was a fluke.
Pick: Oklahoma

SMU vs. UCF - ESPNEWS, 12:00
Pick: UCF

Northwestern vs. Purdue - ESPNU, 12:00
The Wildcats pulled off a stunner in South Bend and while this may seem like a prime letdown opportunity, Purdue is bad.
Pick: Northwestern

UTSA vs. Western Kentucky - Fox Sports Networks, 12:00
Pick: Western Kentucky

Minnesota vs. Nebraska - ESPN, 12:00
The Huskers were a disgrace in defending the run against Wisconsin and that could spell disaster against David Cobb. Even then, Nebraska is a tough place to play so they'll pull out a tight one.
Pick: Nebraska

Marshall vs. UAB - American Sports Network, 12:00
Marshall should win, but you should read this excellent piece on the uncertain future of UAB football.
Pick: Marshall

Eastern Kentucky vs. Florida - SEC Network, 12:00
Pick: Florida

Charleston Southern vs. Georgia - SEC Network, 12:00
Pick: Georgia

Fordham vs. Army - CBS Sports Network, 12:00
Pick: Army

Penn State vs. Illinois - ESPN2, 12:00
The Nittany Lions are awful but even then, they should beat the Illini.
Pick: Penn State

Rutgers vs. Michigan State - BTN, 12:00
Pick: Michigan State

South Alabama vs. South Carolina - Fox Sports Networks (SEC), 12:00
The Gamecocks better not sleep on the Jaguars. I think they will be a very close game.
Pick: South Carolina

Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest - ACC Network, 12:30
Pick: Virginia Tech

Washington State vs. Arizona State - Pac-12 Networks, 1:00
The Sun Devils just lost to Oregon State somehow, I can't see them doing that again.
Pick: Arizona State

Louisiana Tech vs. Old Dominion - Fox College Sports, 1:00
Pick: Louisiana Tech

Western Michigan vs. Central Michigan - ESPN3, 1:00
Always love when the directionals go at it and this is a big game in the MAC. I like Western as they have been playing great of late and I think they're better than Central.
Pick: Western Michigan

New Mexico vs. Colorado State - Root Sports, 1:30
Pick: Colorado State

Tulsa vs. Houston - ESPN3, 3:00
Pick: Houston

Arizona vs. Utah - ESPN, 3:30
Can the Salt Lake City homefield advantage and a strong defense be enough to slow down this quality Arizona attack? I say no.
Pick: Arizona

Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh - ESPNU, 3:30
Pick: Pittsburgh

Louisville vs. Notre Dame - NBC, 3:30
The loss to Northwestern in OT was a mess for the Irish and a strong Louisville defense could make them pay. I still like Notre Dame, though.
Pick: Notre Dame

Ole Miss vs. Arkansas - CBS, 3:30
The Hogs finally broke their SEC losing streak and they have proven themselves to be dangerous against anybody in the SEC. I do like the Rebels here but they better not get caught sleeping
Pick: Ole Miss

Maryland vs. Michigan - BTN, 3:30
We all know the deal with Michigan, and Maryland is the better team. That said, I think the Maize and Blue will find a way to continue their winning streak.
Pick: Michigan

Wisconsin vs. Iowa - ABC/ESPN2, 3:30
Let's fire up the Melvin Gordon Heisman train after that monstrous performance he had against Nebraska, breaking the rushing record in 3 quarters? Iowa just isn't that good.
Pick: Wisconsin

Boston College vs. Florida State - ABC/ESPN2, 3:30
It seems like every game involving FSU gets interesting so maybe the Eagles can push the action a little. In Tallahassee, though, the Seminoles have it.
Pick: Florida State

Texas Tech vs. Iowa State - Fox Sports Networks, 3:30
Pick: Texas Tech

FIU vs. North Texas - American Sports Networks, 3:30
Pick: North Texas

Georgia State vs. Clemson - Fox Sports Networks (ACC), 3:30
Pick: Clemson

Tulane vs. East Carolina - ESPN3, 3:30
Pick: East Carolina

USF vs. Memphis - ESPNEWS, 4:00
Pick: Memphis

Stanford vs. California - Fox Sports 1, 4:00
This should be the best Big Game showdown since 2011 and while the Stanford defense is still strong, I think Sonny Dyke will get his first big win with the Golden Bears here.
Pick: California

Western Carolina vs. Alabama - SEC Network, 4:00
Pick: Alabama

Louisiana-Monroe vs. New Mexico State - Aggie Vision PPV, 4:00
Pick: Louisiana-Monroe

Colorado vs. Oregon - Pac-12 Networks, 4:30
Pick: Oregon

Appalachian State vs. Louisiana-Lafayette - ESPN3, 5:00
Pick: Louisiana-Lafayette

FAU vs. Middle Tennessee - American Sports Network, 7:00
Pick: Middle Tennessee

Samford vs. Auburn - ESPNU, 7:00
Pick: Auburn

Miami (FL) vs. Virginia - ESPN2, 7:00
The Canes may have folded against Florida State but they showed plenty of game. And against a sinking Virginia program, they'll get back to the winning ways.
Pick: Miami (FL)

Vanderbilt vs. Mississippi State - SEC Network, 7:30
Pick: Mississippi State

Oklahoma State vs. Baylor - Fox, 7:30
It's been a disappointing year for the Pokes and that will continue in Waco.
Pick: Baylor

Missouri vs. Tennessee - ESPN, 7:30
The Tigers played the best game of their season in College Station on Saturday and in another tough road environment, can they do it again? I think they can, but the Vols are certainly game.
Pick: Missouri

USC vs. UCLA - ABC, 8:00
College football's best intra-city matchup right here, and will feature of pair of clubs playing well and trying to get to the Pac-12 title game. I like the Bruins behind Brett Hundley to pull it out.
Pick: UCLA

Cincinnati vs. Connecticut - CBS Sports Network, 8:00
Pick: Cincinnati

Boise State vs. Wyoming - ESPN2, 10:15
Pick: Boise State

Fresno State vs. Nevada - ESPNU, 10:30
Should be a good one in Reno but I think the Wolfpack's rushing game will be the difference.
Pick: Nevada

Oregon State vs. Washington - Pac-12 Networks, 10:30
Can the Beavers pull off another upset? I doubt it but it ain't crazy, though.
Pick: Washington

UNLV vs. Hawaii - Oceanic PPV, 11:00
Pick: UNLV
