2014 NFL on Fox Announcers & Distribution: Week 5

It is Week 5 in the 2014 NFL season and Fox has a sextet of games in regional action this Sunday. The early games are Falcons-Giants, Bears-Panthers, Rams-Eagles, Buccaneers-Saints and Bills-Lions with Cardinals-Broncos being the sole late game. This is also the first week of the MLB Postseason and with that you will see some changes to the Fox crews starting this week.   1. For a change Fox seems to have got it spot on - sending B&A to the Cards-Broncos match-up instead of playing it "safe" with the Giants and Falcons. Just for the sake of it, would love to see the Cards giving Denver a real scare. By the way I note Chris Myers isn't on duty. Is he tied in with the MLB play-offs?

    1. There not as many games this week on the ticket for FOX, so Chris Myers is not needed this week regardless of his involvement with MLB Playoffs.

    2. You could be right. I had assumed Myers was higher in the Fox pecking order than Sam Rosen and Dick Stockton, that's all.

  2. Well Chris is a primary voice for FOX NFL games this year while Sam just a part time / fillion for the network plus Myers tweeted a few days ago he is studio host during FOX Sports 1 coverage of the NLDS so that's why Rosen is in for him & Chris is higher than both Dick & Sam
