  1. You put Texans vs Colts twice Lol

    ReplyDelete
  2. Obviously Trent Green would be working with Greg Gumbel.

    ReplyDelete
  3. The Steelers and Falcons are only playing each other during Week 15, not Week 16.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Where are the announcer names? I don't see any listed

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They haven't been announced yet for Week 1 and beyond.

      Delete
    2. When will they be? If you know...

      Delete
  5. How do you know that Jim Nantz and Phil Simms is going to call out the Broncos vs. Seahawks game?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Why wouldn't they? Its a huge game!

      Delete
  6. I think week one, the announcers will go 1-7 for the games, going down

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That makes sense. When I made some CBS predictions, I found it just about being the same.

      Delete
    2. Jim and Phil Brown Steelers why? Manziel not gonna even start...

      Delete
    3. Well that isn't certain yet but one would think that they are banking on it. It isn't a great slate of games by any stretch too.

      Delete
  7. Now, we know that Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts called on the International Series game because Jim Nantz and Phil Simms calls the Thursday Night Game

    ReplyDelete
  8. Would Jim Nantz and Phil Simms would call the Patriots-Packer game after their Thanksgiving game?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I would put it at just about a lock that that will get the top crew, although Nantz and Simms do not always do a game after Thanksgiving that week.

      Delete
  9. How come Jim and Phil doing the Jets/Packers game week 2? Chiefs and Broncos is a bigger game...?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are probably doing Jets Packers because it's a good wide receiver matchup between Eric Decker and Jordy Nelson.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nantz and Simms called the Chiefs-Broncos game. Greg Gumbel and Trent Green called the Jets-Packer game. Nantz and Simms however are doing the Patriots-Packer game because I believe it is a good matchup between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers and also because it doesn't take too long to fly from Detroit to Green Bay anyways.

      Delete
  11. Since Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts are the No 2 team will Eagle still be calling NFL games on the Westwood One Radio Network

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I have not heard anything that suggests otherwise so I think he will return. I've heard that Trent Green will not be doing TNF radio anymore with his added TV duties.

  12. For Week 2 Dolphins vs. Bills, you misspelled Adam Archuleta (Adam Archeleta).

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ben, when will the national Distribution be revealed for week 1?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Soon, I've got the preliminary distribution from The506 that I am working on right now.

      Delete
  16. When will the week 2 dist be out? Quicker than week 1?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Would Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts possibly call the Texans-Cowboys game in Week 5?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Who decides what station gets what game?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's a good question. The network largely makes the call as to which games go where but local affiliates do get some input as to which game they think would draw the best.

  19. Looks like there is a petition going in Denver, as Broncos' fans are trying to have Phil Simms banned from broadcasting Broncos' games...

  20. Who will call the games on Oct.19?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Evan Washburn confirmed on Twitter that he will indeed be the sideline reporter for the Dolphins-Bears game...https://twitter.com/EvanWashburn/status/521430020129292288

    ReplyDelete
  22. Will Jim Nantz and Phil Simms call the Colts at Steelers game

    ReplyDelete
  23. I know Jim Nantz and Phil Simms called a Viking-Packer rivalry but since they called the Chiefs-Broncos game in Week 2 instead of the Jets-Packer game and I know that Patriots-Packer games are big games but why would Nantz and Simms call that game? I think that Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts should call that game since they called the Patriots-Viking game. To me whatever announcer calls whatever the Vikings play at home should be the one calling a Packer game of whoever they play the same opponent that played at Minnesota.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Announcer predictions for Week 11. Ian Eagle Bengals vs Saints, Greg Gumbel Texans vs Browns, Kevin Harlan Broncos vs Rams, Spero Dedes Raiders vs Chargers and Andrew Catalon Vikings vs Bears.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I also suspect that Vikings-Bears was crossflexed from Fox to keep Andrew Catalon busy as distribution for that game doesn't look that much better than if Fox kept it.However, while you predicted week 11 assignments for Catalon, Ian Eagle, and Kevin Harlan are likely correct; I predict that Greg Gumbel gets Raiders-Chargers (sole 1:05 game) while Spero Dedes gets Texans-Browns.

      Delete
  25. Predictions for Week 12? As of right now CBS has five games in the early window and FOX has three.

    ReplyDelete
  26. where are the announcers for week 11 I don't see any listed

    ReplyDelete
  27. Since there are no changes in the Week 12 schedule. Going to make my announcer predictions for Week 12. Jim Nantz Dolphins vs Broncos, Ian Eagle Bengals vs Texans, Greg Gumbel Browns vs Falcons, Kevin Harlan Titans vs Eagles, Spero Dedes Redskins vs 49ers, Andrew Catalon Jets vs Bills and Tom Mccarthy Jaguars vs Colts.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Actually, I believe Spero Dedes gets Browns-Falcons with Greg Gumbel getting the Niners game though Jim Nantz is possible (it that case, Gumbel gets Dolphins-Broncos)...

      Delete
    2. I just realized for Week 12. Jim Nantz will be calling Chiefs-Raiders on Thursday . So I won't be surpised that Nantz will be calling Redskins vs 49ers. If that will happens most likely Greg Gumbel getting Dolphins- Broncos.

      Delete
    3. Since Dolphins-Broncos is the main game on CBS on Week 12. I still think that Jim Nantz will be calling this game. Even though Oakland to Santa Clara is only 43 miles.

      Delete
    4. Jim Nantz said on Thursday Night Football tonight. He will be at Denver. For the Dolphins-Broncos game.

      Delete
  28. Going to make my predictions for Week 13. I predict that Chargers vs Ravens or Browns vs Bills will get moved to the 4:25 window.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I actually believe that Nantz and Simms are doing Washington-San Francisco with Andrew Catalon doing Browns-Falcons.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Since the announcer assignments are out for Week 12 and 13. I am going to guess Week 14. Ian Eagle Steelers vs Bengals, Greg Gumbel Colts vs Browns, Kevin Harlan Ravens vs Dolphins, Spero Dedes Chiefs vs Cardinals, Andrew Catalon Bills vs Broncos, Tom Mccarthy Texans vs Jaguars and Brad Johansen Jets vs Vikings.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I also wanted to add. I won't be shocked if one of these games Colts vs Browns, Ravens vs Dolphins, Chiefs vs Cardinals and Bills vs Broncos get's cross flexed to FOX or get's flexed in for SNF.

      Delete
    2. For Week 14. Most likely Chiefs vs Cardinals will get cross-flexed to FOX. So going to make my revised announcer predictions for Week 14. Ian Eagle Steelers vs Bengals, Greg Gumbel Colts vs Browns, Kevin Harlan Ravens vs Dolphins, Spero Dedes Bills vs Broncos, Andrew Catalon Texans vs Jaguars and Tom Mccarthy Jets vs Vikings.

      Delete
  31. Going to make my predictions for Week 15. Ian Eagle Broncos vs Chargers, Greg Gumbel Dolphins vs Patriots, Kevin Harlan Bengals vs Browns, Spero Dedes Texans vs Colts, Andrew Catalon Steelers vs Falcons, Tom Mccarthy Jaguars vs Ravens, Brad Johnsen Jets vs Titans and Ron Pitts Raiders vs Chiefs.

    ReplyDelete
  32. For Week 15. Maybe Bengals vs Browns or Dolphins vs Patriots get's crossflexed to FOX.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Announcer predictions for Week 16. Jim Nantz Colts vs Cowboys, Ian Eagle Chiefs vs Steelers, Greg Gumbel Patriots vs Jets, Kevin Harlan Ravens vs Texans, Spero Dedes Browns vs Panthers and Andrew Catalon Bills vs Raiders.

    Replies
    1. For Week 16. I don't see any crossflex between CBS and FOX. But who knows? Maybe Chiefs-Steelers?

    1. I think most likely Chiefs vs Cardinals will get crossflexed to FOX.

    2. I doubt it. It will stay at CBS.

  35. Most likely the Week 12 Jets vs Bills game will get postponed to Monday night. My questions are. Will Spero Dedes still be calling the game as scheduled? And where will this game be played? Detroit or Washington? I say Detroit has the edge over Washington. If this game gets pushed back to Monday night. I say that the kickoff will be at 7:20ET and 4:20PT.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I would also like to add the Week 13 Browns vs Bills game will probably get postponed as well. My questions are. Will Greg Gumbel still be calling this game as scheduled? If this game get's postponed. Where will this game be played? Detroit again? If this game gets pushed back to Monday night. I say that kickoff will be a 7:20ET and 4:20PT.

      Delete
  36. Yes Spero Dedes & Solomon Wilcots will still call the Jets vs Bills game in Detroit

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nice. I would like Spero Dedes and the rest of the CBS crew over Mike Trico and the rest of the MNF crew. I am speculating that the rest of the Bills season Week 13 vs Browns and Week 15 vs Packers on FOX (for now) will either get postponed or moved to another venue. What do you all think?

PS I am referencing to the 2010 Minnesota Vikings. They played their last two home games at a netual site. But in the case of the 2014 Buffalo Bills they will probably play their last three home games at a netual site.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Spero Dedes and Solomon Wilcots should call the Bears and Lions game in Detroit since they will be in Detroit for the Jets and Bills

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They can't, it's Jim Nantz and Phil Simms that will call the Bears Lions Thanksgiving game. They do Thanksgiving games each year. They rotate between Lions and Cowboys game every other year.

      Delete
  39. In Week 14, Tony Taglavore will team up with Adam Archuleta as the #7 announcing team while Tom McCarthy will team up with Chris Simms as the #8 announcing team.

  40. Why is Brian Anderson not calling any games so far? His name has not been mentioned! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He was unable to do Titans/Bengals because of baseball duties and I would expect him in week 15 with 8 games on CBS that week

      Delete
    2. And of course Week 17 should CBS not have a game flexed to Sunday night as they have a few good potential games (both AFC North games and Chargers-Chiefs).

      Delete
    3. He will be working his first game this Sunday, Houston-Jacksonville.

  44. As for Week 15. Either Bengals vs Browns or Dolphins vs Patriots will get crossflexed from CBS to FOX. I think most likely Bengals vs Browns get's crossflexed. What do you all think? 1. On Thursday Night Football for Week 15, Tim Brant, David Archer, and Rachel Baribera would call the Arizona Cardinals-St. Louis Rams game instead of Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, and Tracy Wolfson. When CBS does not have a 4:25 p.m., Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, and Tracy Wolfson would be demoted to #4 announcing team for the time being. Also, Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon will be demoted to #5 announcing team. And, Spero Dedes and Solomon Wilcots would be demoted to #8 announcing team.

      IND-TEN Catalon, Beurelein, Tasker

    3. I don't think Lions-Packers will be flexed to primetime. I would probably say Bengals-Steelers. Besides the Packers already played enough primet time games. So please don't make any more comments about Packers playing in primetime this year, LOL. Besides Randy Cross is not calling any games, Mars.

    4. I rather disagree with you Jonathan. I think the Lions-Packers will be flexed to prime time. Maybe, Randy Cross would join Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon as a possible three-man booth.

    5. Mars please stop making stuff up. Randy Cross is not calling any games at all and has not called any games last year.

    1. Always love when anonymous commenters get up righteous and tell others to get a life. Funny.

We can disagree and I for one don't agree with him but that doesn't mean we can get all crazy about it.

    2. Anon, do you really need to say stuff like that? I expect an apology from you as I do you watch NFC North. It will not get flexed to Sunday night. It will either probably be 49ers-Cardinals or Bills-Patriots.

    3. Anonymous, I still want an apology from you.

    1. I was surprised that Bengals-Steelers was indeed flexed. I had thought late afternoon yesterday that Carolina-Atlanta was the favorite and if not that then they would flex GB-Detroit.

  70. NBC only airs one Wild Card Round and one Divisional Round which doesn't make any sense to me. Is anyone happy that Shannon Sharpe is gone?
