2013 College Football Predictions: Week 13

Will Bryce Petty and the Baylor Bears ever have to sweat a game out? They may have to this week in Stillwater against the Oklahoma State Cowboys as this should be their toughest test of the season, as well as the biggest game of the year in the Big XII. Can Baylor keep their national title hopes alive? Or will the Cowboys take back control of the conference? Here are my picks for week 13.

Tuesday, November 19th
Kent State vs. Ohio - ESPN2, 8:00
Pick: Ohio

Buffalo vs. Miami (OH) - ESPNU, 8:00
Pick: Buffalo

Wednesday, November 20th
Northern Illinois vs. Toledo - ESPN2, 8:00
This Rockets club is pretty solid and this may the toughest test for the Huskies the rest of the way, even including the MAC title game. I still like NIU.
Pick: Northern Illinois

Thursday, November 21st
Rice vs. UAB - Fox Sports 1, 7:30
Pick: Rice

Rutgers vs. #17 UCF - ESPN, 7:30
The Scarlet Knights were a disaster against Cincinnati and after the scare in Philadelphia, I think the Knights will come out much stronger.
Pick: UCF

UNLV vs. Air Force - ESPNU, 9:30
Pick: UNLV

Friday, November 22nd
Navy vs. San Jose State - ESPN2, 9:30
Pick: San Jose State

Saturday, November 23rd
Cincinnati vs. Houston - ESPNEWS, 12:00
The Bearcats were awesome in Piscataway and while they won't look that strong this week, I do think they will take out a pretty solid Houston team
Pick: Cincinnati

Memphis vs. #21 Louisville - American Network, 12:00
Pick: Louisville

Mississippi State vs. Arkansas - SEC TV, 12:00
Pick: Arkansas

Michigan vs. Iowa - BTN, 12:00
The Wolverines' offense is just getting to be comical, and on the road in Iowa City, it will continue.
Pick: Iowa

Illinois vs. Purdue - BTN, 12:00
Pick: Illinois

Old Dominion vs. North Carolina - ACC Network (RSN), 12:00
Pick: Ole Dominion

#13 Michigan State vs. Northwestern - ESPN, 12:00
Pick: Michigan State

#25 Duke vs. Wake Forest - ESPN2, 12:00
Somebody explain to me why the Blue Devils are out there kicking ass? We may see them in the ACC Championship.
Pick: Duke

Virginia vs. Miami (FL) - ESPNU, 12:00
The Canes are a mess having dropped three in a row, but at least Virginia is terrible.
Pick: Miami (FL)

#22 Oklahoma vs. Kansas State - Fox Sports 1, 12:00
Do not rule out an upset in Manhattan. I wouldn't.
Pick: Oklahoa

The Citadel vs. #7 Clemson - ESPN3, 12:00
Pick: Clemson

Pittsburgh vs. Syracuse - ACC Network, 12:30
These clubs are relatively equal but with a potential bowl berth on the line, I think the Carrier Dome will be rocking, for the most part.
Pick: Syracuse

East Carolina vs. NC State - ACC Network, 12:30
The Wolfpack better not sleep on the Pirates and I think we'll see an upset in Raleigh.
Pick: East Carolina

Alabama A&M vs. Georgia Tech - ESPN3, 1:30
Pick: Georgia Tech

Chattanooga vs. #1 Alabama - Pay-Per-View/ESPN3, 2:00
Pick: Alabama

Georgia Southern vs. Florida - Pay-Per-View/ESPN3, 2:00
Pick: Florida

Hawaii vs. Wyoming - Pay-Per-View/Mountain West Network, 2:00
Pick: Wyoming

New Mexico State vs. FAU - CBSSports.com, 3:00
Since the Carl Pelini drug fiasco led to his firing at the end of October, the Owls have won two in a row by a combined score of 75-24. Can somebody figure that?
Pick: FAU

BYU vs. Notre Dame - NBC, 3:30
We love independent football and it will be tough to slow down an impressive BYU offense.
Pick: BYU

Colorado State vs. Utah State - CBS Sports Network, 3:30
Ram running back Kapri Bibbs may be the best running back in the country that you have not heard of and I like CSU to go into Ogden and get what may be considered to be an upset.
Pick: Colorado State

#9 Texas A&M vs. #18 LSU - CBS, 3:30
It always is tough to win in Death Valley and if this were a night game, I would probably take the Tigers. I am just not sure that they have an answer for Johnny Manziel.
Pick: Texas A&M

Utah vs. Washington State - Pac-12 Network, 3:30
Both teams are playing for bowl eligibility (although the Utes need two wins) but with their upset of Arizona last week, I think the Cougars have gotten back confidence.
Pick: Washington State

Nebraska vs. Penn State - BTN, 3:30
Pick: Nebraska

#5 Oregon vs. Arizona - ABC/ESPN2, 3:30
Now the Ducks are back in the driver's seat in the North Division but this is a Wildcat club that can put up plenty of offense. I like Oregon but this should be a fun one.
Pick: Oregon

#4 Ohio State vs. Indiana - ABC/ESPN2, 3:30
Pick: Ohio State

#16 Wisconsin vs. Minnesota - ESPN, 3:30
The Golden Gophers have had a great season and they will give the Badger all they've got but I don't think it will be enough in the end.
Pick: Wisconsin

Idaho vs. #2 Florida State - ESPNU, 3:30
Pick: Idaho

Middle Tennessee vs. Southern Miss - CSS, 3:30
Pick: Middle Tennessee

Boston College vs. Maryland - ACC Network (RSN), 3:30
Pick: Maryland

UTEP vs. Tulane - CST, 3:30
Pick: Tulane

UTSA vs. North Texas - Time Warner Cable Sports Channel Texas, 3:30
Pick: North Texas

California vs. #10 Stanford, Fox Sports 1, 4:00
Pick: Stanford

New Mexico vs. Fresno State - ESPNEWS, 4:00
Pick: Fresno State

Marshall vs. FIU - Fox College Sports, 6:00
Pick: Marshall

Tulsa vs. Louisiana Tech - CBS Sports Nework, 7:00
Pick: Tulsa

Louisiana-Monroe vs. South Alabama - Sun Belt Network, 7:00
Pick: Louisiana-Monroe

#19 Arizona State vs. #14 UCLA -  Fox, 7:00
If the Sun Devils win, they will clinch the Pac-12 South and while the Bruins are very good and at home, I think ASU is the slightly superior club.
Pick: Arizona State

Kentucky vs. Georgia - ESPNU, 7:00
Pick: Georgia

Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee - ESPN2, 7:00
The Vols need this to get bowl eligible but Vandy's stout defense will hold the line.
Pick: Vanderbilt

Western Kentucky vs. Texas State - Longhorn Network, 7:00
The Sun Belt's best offense and defense go at it, but with how putrid the Bobcats are offensively, it will be very tough to win even with the game in San Marcos.
Pick: Western Kentucky

UConn vs. Temple - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: Temple

SMU vs. USF - ESPN3, 7:00
Pick: SMU

#8 Missouri vs. #24 Ole Miss - ESPN, 7:45
I do worry that the Tigers may be looking ahead to next week's showdown with Texas A&M but even so, they should win a tough road game.
Pick: Missouri

#3 Baylor vs. #11 Oklahoma State - ABC, 8:00
Every time we think we have a team that could give Baylor trouble, they end up running away with it. I have been going back and forth a little bit here but I think the difference will be the defense of Baylor, who are flying way under the radar due to the offensive prowess.
Pick: Baylor

Kansas vs. Iowa State - Fox Sports 1, 8:00
The Jayhawks got their first conference win in three years impressively last week, can they do it again? I wouldn't get too carried away.
Pick: Iowa State

#23 USC vs. Colorado -  Pac-12 Network, 9:30
Pick: USC

Boise State vs. San Diego State - CBS Sports Network, 10:30
The Aztecs are not strong enough defensively to hold off a potent Bronco attack.
Pick: Boise State

Washington vs. Oregon State - ESPN2, 10:30
I feel like a broken record but we have yet another Pac-12 matchup that should feature plenty of offense. These clubs are pretty evenly matched but I think the Huskies on the road will have the advantage due to their running game and Bishop Sankey.
Pick: Washington
