2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Conference Finals Predictions

After a wild Conference Semifinals round, with both series out West going the distance of seven games, we should only see even more fantastic hockey as we have reached the NHL's version of its Final Four. Who will advance to the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs? Here are my predictions for the Conference Finals.

TV Schedule

(1) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (4) Boston Bruins
So while Boston made me look good, Pittsburgh made me look like a fool, so I would consider that par for the course. Both teams were able to dispatch their respective opponents with too much difficulty, but clearly Pittsburgh looked very strong and made a proud Senators team look over their heads. Therefore, it is tough to pick against the Penguins, particularly after they just burned me. However, I think that Boston has the defensive players to grind down Pittsburgh offensively and just enough offense to get the job done.
Boston in 7

(1) Chicago Blackhawks vs. (5) Los Angeles Kings
As I mentioned in the intro, it took a lot of hockey for both Chicago and Los Angeles to get to this point, but I guess it's better than not getting here, eh? It is always tough to bet against Jonathan Quick and the Kings, who seem to be that classic team that always finds a way to get the W. However, I love how the Hawks rallied to take out their bitter rivals from the East in the Red Wings and with their offensive skill, it will be tough skating for the Kings' wings (see what I did there?).
Chicago in 6
