2013 Southern Conference Tournament Predictions

As I have said, I am going to do predictions for every conference tournament because I am that guy. Let's take a look at the Southern Conference, which only had three teams above .500 and that could make for a wild tournament in Asheville. Here are my predictions.

1st Round - March 8
#8 Wofford vs. #9 Georgia Southern (ESPN3, 11:30)

#7 Chattanooga vs. #10 UNC-Greensboro (ESPN3, 6:00)

Quarterfinals - March 9
South #1 Davidson vs. #8 Wofford (ESPN3, 12:00)
Pick: Davidson

#4 Appalachian State vs. #12 Furman (ESPN3, 2:30)
Pick: Appalachian State

North #1 Elon vs. #7 Chattanooga (ESPN3, 6:00)
Pick: Chattanooga

#3 Charleston vs. #6 Western Carolina (ESPN3, 8:30)

I'm tempted to go for the upset because I have to be that guy, but Davidson dominated the Cougars the two times they played this year and I think that will continue.
