2013 Elite Eight Predictions

We are one step away from Atlanta and the 2013 Final Four. Eight clubs remain. Who will survive and advance from the regional finals? Here are my picks for the Elite Eight.

TV Schedule

#3 Marquette vs. #4 Syracuse - West
Honestly, I am running out of excuses of how the Golden Eagles are doing this, sitting now in a solid spot to get to Atlanta. And while they did nip the Orange a month ago in Milwaukee, I think a superior Syracuse club will get their revenge and advance to the Final Four.
Pick: Syracuse

#2 Ohio State vs. #9 Wichita State - East
As everybody knows, I have been far from a believer in Ohio State this year and certainly in this tournament, but with how well this club has played thus far, I may be sliding into their camp. Wichita State's ability to hit the three will keep them in it, but they don't have the horses the Buckeyes do.
Pick: Ohio State

#3 Florida vs. #4 Michigan - South
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I do not think you can find many teams who could beat Michigan with how they are playing right now. Of course, Kansas did a masterful job to blow that game but it was still a great comeback and Trey Burke has to be the Naismith winner. We have seen Florida struggle when they are not scoring, hence why they never were really able to put FGCU away, so I like the Wolverines to win by ten.
Pick: Michigan

#1 Louisville vs. #2 Duke - Midwest
Listen, I know the Cardinals really have not had that tough of a test in the tournament thus far, even as Oregon made a game of it late on Friday night. But considering how long it has been since Louisville has been in a tight contest, almost a month, I think that will hurt them against a more than game Duke team. Give me the Blue Devils.
Pick: Duke
