Craig Sager lip-synching Call Me Maybe?
So Call Me Maybe is one of those tunes that are so damn catchy, everybody seemingly is making videos of themselves doing some choreographed bit, for example the Harvard baseball team. Add to that list the staff workers at Staples Center out in Los Angeles as seemingly everybody that works at the arena for Lakers, Clippers and Kings games got in the lip-synching/dancing mix. Apparently that includes the great Craig Sager. Let's go to the videotape.
Are the Steinbrenners really considering selling the Yankees?

| Hal and Hank Steinbrenner |
It just seems so surprising and shocking that the Steinbrenners would considering selling the most valuable team in baseball that under their family rule has led to seven World Series titles but are they? And should they?
What is next for the Lakers? Could we see a major shakeup of Showtime?
It may be an end of an era for the Lakers. After a second consecutive playoff departure in the second round, with Kobe Bryant not getting any younger plus with the club having a tough cap situation in the near future, the future is not quite so bright for the Lakers. Not to mention the fact that the club had the lowest winning percentage since Kwame Brown was still getting major minutes for Showtime. So for the club, what is the next step?
Are the Orlando Magic really going to consider Shaq for the GM job? UPDATE
I mean, this story is just so ridiculous, so utterly insane, I have no idea where to start. So like I noted the other day, the Orlando Magic have pretty much cleaned house and they need a new general manager and a new coach. So the folks the club is considering for the GM job has some quality candidates, such as former Pacers and Knicks personnel chief Donnie Walsh as well as former Hornets GM Jeff Bower. But that list apparently, incredulously, includes the guy that put the club on the map, Shaquille O'Neal. I'm not making this up, ESPN reported it. So what in the world could this possibly mean?
UPDATE: Shaq has put out a statement indicating he has no interest in the job.

Are the Magic making a mistake in firing Stan Van Gundy?
The big news in the world of the NBA yesterday, sans the NBA Playoffs of course, was the news that the Orlando Magic were dismissing both general manager Otis Smith as well as head coach Stan Van Gundy. The dismissal of Smith was somewhat surprising considering all he has been trying to do is to build a team to star center Dwight Howard's liking, and in the process taking on too many huge contracts which leaves the team in a position of where it can't do anything in the offseason, but the dismissal of Van Gundy is not really a surprise as it is something we've foreseen for a while, including the coach himself. So is this a move the Magic had to make and is it one that the club will regret?

The Miami Heat cannot win the Finals sans Chris Bosh
Safe to say that Chris Bosh has gotten a lot of hate over the last couple of seasons after signing in Miami with LeBron James to join Dwayne Wade as the elite triumvirate in the league, a lot of it being undeserved but that's a different story. People roll their eyes when Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has said that Bosh was the team's most valuable player but after losing him in game 1 of their second round series against the Indiana Pacers to an abdominal strain that could keep him out of the rest of the playoffs, they have struggled; Indiana won two in a row by outscoring Miami by 22 points combined before the Heat claimed game 4 today. We are seeing proof that without Bosh, Miami is not winning a title.
