2012 NBA Playoffs: Conference Semifinals Predictions

The NBA Playoffs has been rolling along with some upsets, some ass kicking and all around, pretty good basketball. Four teams are left in each conference as eight clubs total still have their dreams of an NBA Championship. Who will advance to the conference finals? Here are my picks.

2012 NBA Mock Draft: Pre-Lottery Edition

As you would expect, this will be an NBA draft dominated by the stars from the national champions, John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats. As the NBA Playoffs are moving onwards towards the conference semifinals, the teams that missed the show are awaiting the NBA Draft Lottery, which is scheduled for May 30th. Thus, here is my pre-draft lottery mock draft.

2012 NBA Playoffs: Conference Semifinals TV Schedule & Announcers

The 2012 NBA Playoffs keeps on choogling forward as the conference semifinals kick off this weekend. Here's the television schedule as well as announcing assignments for the second round of the NBA Playoffs on the road to the Finals.

2012 MLB on FOX Announcers & Distribution: May 12th

Both the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Albert Pujols had really high hopes for 2012 after they linked up in the offseason. However, both have struggled thus far. The Angels right now are at the bottom in the American League West and Pujols has also struggled, as of right now batting below the Mendoza Line with only one home run. Can they get their action into traction this Saturday against the division rival Texas Rangers, who are at the opposite spot in the division? That's one of the games this week on FOX Saturday Baseball with the other games being an NL East showdown in Mets-Marlins and an NL Central showdown in Cubs-Brewers. Continue reading for announcer assignments and distribution splits for this weekend.

Does Andrew Bynum get it?

Andrew Bynum is still only 24 years old. He's one of the most talented centers in the league and one of the best centers in the league. But you really have to wonder if he truly gets it to be really successful in this league.

Cris Carter swore on Mike & Mike this morning

ESPN NFL analyst and soon to be NFL Hall of Famer (one of these days) Cris Carter was on Mike & Mike in the Morning earlier today and he stepped in it while discussing how the Saints player involved in the bounty scandal stepped in it, if you catch my drift. Let's go to the videotape.

Charles Barkley on Mitt Romney: "You're going down, bro"

Mitt Romney was at the Hawks-Celtics game last night and when he was shown when the TNT studio crew was handing off to the game telecast, Charles Barkley had some fighting words for the presumptive Republican nominee. "We're gonna beat you like a drum in November," he said before trashing some joker dressed in Boston regalia at TD Garden. Let's go to the videotape.

Watch Bryce Harper steal home against the Phillies

Now it's not everyday that you see a player steal home. But it's also not everyday that we see a player in baseball as talented as Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals. Now while you won't confuse this with when Jackie Robinson stole home in game 1 of the 1955 World Series, it still counts as Harper was able to steal home on a pickoff attempt at first for his first stolen base of his major league career against the Philadelphia Phillies. This kid truly is something else. To the videotape.

Carlos Boozer with the pitiful pass into the crowd

Earlier in the year, I put up a clip of Corey Maggette making what may have been the worst pass ever. But for him it isn't that bad. After all, it's Corey Maggette and he plays for the worst team ever. But this pass from Carlos Boozer right into the crowd at Wells Fargo Center hurts more as the Bulls (down 2-1 to the 76ers) need him to step up. Yeah, that won't do it and Tom Thibodeau knew it and Mike Tirico knew it. LEt's go to the videotape.

John Tortorella may have had the shortest post-game press conference ever

I've always been a big fan of Rangers coach John Tortorella because of his fiery he is and when he is pissed off, you don't want to be near him. Love that. And thus after his club suffered a tough 3-2 loss yesterday to the Washington Capitals which evened up the series at two games apiece as the series turns back to Madison Square Garden now for game 5. And it was clear Tortorella was not happy and it lead to this beauty of a post-game presser which was a hell of a lot quicker than most. Let's go to the videotape.
