2012 College Football Picks: Week 7

You may not know much about Louisiana Tech and quarterback Colby Cameron but they may be very well the best chance at a team busting the BCS. Running Sonny Dykes' high-octane offense, Cameron has been brilliant in 2012, throwing 13 touchdowns against zero interceptions. But the Bulldogs face their toughest test Saturday night against a Texas A&M club that has been playing great and is no stranger to a lot of offense. If Tech pulls out the upset in this rescheduled game due to Hurricane Issac, they shouldn't lose the rest of the season. But will they?

It's the B-FLO 360 week seven picks.
AP Rankings

Thursday, October 11th
Western Kentucky vs. Troy (ESPNU, 7:30)
Pick: Western Kentucky

UTEP vs. Tulsa (FSN, 8:00)
Pick: Tulsa

Arizona State vs. Colorado (ESPN, 9:00)
Pick: Arizona State

Friday, October 12th
Navy vs. Central Michigan (ESPN2, 8:00)
Pick: Central Michigan

Saturday, October 13th
(18) Louisville vs. Pittsburgh (ESPNU, 11:00)
Pick: Louisville

(13) Oklahoma vs. (15) Texas (ABC, 12:00)
I think we're going to see a lot of points in this one as both clubs just had big offensive performances in their last game. I do think on the season, Texas has been more impressive plus their defense is stronger.
Pick: Texas

(6) Kansas State vs. Iowa State (FX, 12:00)
The Wildcats better watch out when they go into Ames this Saturday. This game will be very close throughout but KSU will win a squeaker.
Pick: Kansas State

Iowa vs. Michigan State (ESPN, 12:00)
Neither of these teams have been impressive at all this season. Don't expect a lot of points but the Spartans will control the ball by riding Le'Veon Ball 30 times.
Pick: Michigan State

Northwestern vs. Minnesota (ESPN2, 12:00)
The Big Ten is so bad, the Wildcats still have a solid shot at getting to Indianapolis.
Pick: Northwestern

Auburn vs. Ole Miss (SEC Network, 12:00)
The Tigers have just been a disaster offensively of late so I'm feeling an upset, of sorts.
Pick: Ole Miss

Wisconsin vs. Purdue (BTN, 12:00)
The Badgers finally have gotten their offense going with Joel Stave under center and Montee Ball has been great running the ball. Purdue is decent but Wisconsin will win comfortably.
Pick: Wisconsin

Kent State vs. Army (CBS Sports Network, 12:00)
Pick: Kent State

UAB vs. Houston (FSN, 12:00)
Pick: Houston

Syracuse vs. (20) Rutgers (Big East Network, 12:00)
Pick: Rutgers

Duke vs. Virginia Tech (ACC Network, 12:00)
I'm telling you right now, Duke is not half bad. Give me the Blue Devils.
Pick: Duke

SMU vs. Tulane (CSS, 1:00)
Pick: SMU

North Carolina vs. Miami (FL) (ESPNU, 2:30)
The U have been awful against really good teams and while UNC is not really good, their offense is on a roll right now.
Pick: North Carolina

Utah vs. UCLA (FOX, 3:00)
This Utah team gave USC a go and led for much of the game before falling just short. UCLA is coming off a bad loss to call and Utes QB Jon Hays should have a solid game in Pasadena.
Pick: Utah

Maryland vs. Virginia (FSN regional, 3:00)
Virginia may very well be the worst team in the ACC. Maryland's strong defense will get them the victory.
Pick: Maryland

Nevada vs. UNLV (TWC Sportsnet, 3:00)
Pick: Nevada

(1) Alabama vs. Missouri (CBS, 3:30)
Can we see a historic upset in Columbia? No.
Pick: Alabama

(17) Stanford vs. (7) Notre Dame (NBC, 3:30)
I like what Stanford has been doing thus far but I think they are not good enough offensively to challenge a great Irish defense.
Pick: Notre Dame

(10) Oregon State vs. BYU (ABC, 3:30)
BYU has scored six points twice this season, including last Friday night. Against a team as good defensively as the Badgers, that is not a good sign.
Pick: Oregon State

(5) West Virginia vs. Texas Tech (ABC/ESPN, 3:30)
I think we'll see 1,000 passing yards in this one. Coming off the big Texas win, the Mountaineers better not sleep on the Red Raiders, who have pulled many an upset before.
Pick: West Virginia

Illinois vs. Michigan (ABC/ESPN, 3:30)
The Fighting Illini are really bad, which is great news for Denard Robinson and friends.
Pick: Michigan

Fresno State vs. (24) Boise State (NBC Sports Network, 3:30)
Look out for this Fresno offense, which is terrific. Boise has been far more inconsistent offensively so give me the road team here.
Pick: Fresno State

Oklahoma State vs. Kansas (FSN, 3:30)
Although it was interesting early, we learned that Kansas was still bad last week.
Pick: Oklahoma State

UTSA vs. Rice (FCS, 3:30)
Pick: UTSA

Buffalo vs. Northern Illinois (CSN Chicago, 3:30)
Pick: Northern Illinois

Miami (OH) vs. Bowling Green (BCSN, 3:30)
Pick: Miami (OH)

Utah State vs. San Jose State (ESPN+, 4:00)
Pick: San Jose State

Memphis vs. East Carolina (CSS, 4:30)
Pick: East Carolina

Boston College vs. (12) Florida State (ESPN2, 5:30)
After the surprising upset, look for the Seminoles to rebound in a big way against a crap BC team.
Pick: Florida State

(4) Florida vs. Vanderbilt (ESPNU, 6:00)
What a jump for the Gators, from tenth to fourth! Vanderbilt plays tough almost every week but this Florida team is kicking ass and taking names.
Pick: Florida

Colorado State vs. San Diego State (TWC Sportsnet & KTVD, 6:30)
Pick: San Diego State

(11) USC vs. Washington (FOX, 7:00)
The Trojans have yet to have a statement victory this season and they will be the second upset victim at the hands of the Huskies thanks to their inconsistent depth.
Pick: Washington

TCU vs. Baylor (FSN, 7:00)
The Horned Frogs will rally from the disappointing loss to Iowa State and take out Baylor, who couldn't stop my ex-wife defensively. (I don't have an ex-wife)
Pick: TCU

Kentucky vs. Arkansas (FSN regional, 7:00)
Don't put too much stock into Arkansas's victory over Auburn but fortunately for them, Kentucky is pretty bad.
Pick: Arkansas

Air Force vs. Wyoming (Root Sports Rocky Mountain, 7:00)
Pick: Wyoming

Idaho vs. Texas State (KTRV, 7:00)
Pick: Idaho

(3) South Carolina vs. (9) LSU (ESPN, 8:00)
What a statement victory for the Cocks, dominating Georgia and winning by 28. Against an LSU club that can't move the ball, I like the ol' Ball Coach.
Pick: South Carolina

(8) Ohio State vs. Indiana (BTN, 8:00)
The Buckeyes are clearly the best team in the conference but that isn't saying much. Indiana is still awful but may actually not be the worst team in conference (hello Illinois). OSU rolls.
Pick: Ohio State

Southern Miss vs. UCF (CBS Sports Network, 8:00)
Pick: UCF

FAU vs. Louisiana-Monroe (Sun Belt Network, 8:00)
Pick: Louisiana-Monroe

Tennessee vs. (20) Mississippi State (ESPN2, 9:00)
Mississippi State really hasn't played anybody all year but I'm loving what I am seeing with Tyler Russell and the 10-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
Pick: Mississippi State

(22) Texas A&M vs. (23) Louisiana Tech (ESPNU, 9:30)
If this game was being played when it was originally scheduled, I would take the Bulldogs. But the Aggies, and quarterback Johnny Manziel in particular, are getting their offense to roll now and I think they will win this in a shootout.
Pick: Texas A&M

Cal vs. Washington State (Pac-12 Network, 10:30)
Maybe Cal turned the corner against UCLA?
Pick: Cal

New Mexico vs. Hawaii (Oceanic Pay-Per-View, 11:59)
Pick: New Mexico
