Kentucky defeats Louisville 69-61, advances to National Championship Game

The Cardinals of Louisville certainly were game tonight in the first Final Four game of the evening against their hated rivals but it was the talent of the Kentucky Wildcats, led by a brilliant performance from Anthony Davis, that proved too much as the top seeded team in the 2012 NCAA Tournament will advance to the Nationak Championship Game on Monday after winning tonight, 69-61. Louisville never really seemed out of the game but ultimately, their feistiness proved futile. Davis had 18 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks and he was a guy tonight that the Cardinals had no answer for.

John Calipari's club will take on Kansas on Monday night in a coaching rematch of the 2008 championship game, where it was Bill Self that came out on top.

Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg and Steve Kerr called the game for CBS Sports from the Superdome and they have the game recap.
