2012 Final Four Predictions

And then there were four. The 2012 NCAA Tournament is now down to the Final Four as Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas and Ohio State are what is left of March Madness and one of those teams will be crowned national champion. But first they have to win their game this Saturday. Who will advance to Monday's National Championship Game?

TV Schedule

Louisville vs. Kentucky
I really love this matchup because of the hate these schools have for each other, the contempt these coaches have for each other, they both have rabid fanbases as well as a David v. Goliath aspect. I think the great defense that Louisville plays will keep them in the game but I just don't see the offense coming from the Cardinals to be able to score with Kentucky. I don't think anybody will beat Kentucky but the Cardinals will give it an admirable effort.
Pick: Kentucky 75 Louisville 63

Ohio State vs. Kansas
I think will be a pretty close ballgame and I'll tell you why. Both of these teams are very good, obviously, as well as the fact that they are very balanced. Here is where I think the edge goes to Ohio State. Aaron Craft was brilliant on defense against Syracuse and has been throughout this whole tournament and Luke Winn from Sports Illustrated put together some brilliant stats showing that Craft forces a turnover on 7.56% of opponent's possessions. Who will Craft be guarding? Tyshawn Taylor, who Winn notes has a turnover on 6.2% of his team's possessions, second among point guards remaining. See where I'm going with this?
Pick: Ohio State 68 Kansas 64
