Matthew Stafford is the 2011 NFL Comeback Player of the Year

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford fought through injuries his first two seasons in Detroit and thus the team continued to struggle, although they ended the 2010 NFL season strong. He came back this year and was completely healthy and had a fantastic NFL season this year, 5,038 passing yards, 41 touchdowns against 16 interceptions and most importantly brought hope back hope to Motown and led the team back to the playoffs. And thus he was voted NFL Associated Press.Comeback Player of the Year.
