2012 NBA All-Star Game Starters

The starters for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, to be held in Orlando at the Amway Center on February 26th, have been announced. As usual, they were the result of fan voting. Let's take a look and see if the fans got it right.

Eastern Conference
G - Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
G - Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat
F - LeBron James, Miami Heat
F - Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
C - Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic

I don't have any real problems here, except you could make an argument that Anthony is not having his best season, his shooting percentage is awful and his defense is pretty poor, as usual. and you could easily argue Chris Bosh should start instead and Kelly Dwyer does right here.

Western Conference
G - Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
G - Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
F - Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
F - Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
C - Andrew Bynum, Los Angeles Lakers

Have only one problem here and that is with Griffin, who while he's so exciting and fun to watch when he does his dunks and stuff, he should not be starting. Kevin Love should be starting with more points, more rebounds and a high efficiency rating. And you could make an argument for LaMarcus Aldridge as well.
