Rob Gronkowski likely to play in Super Bowl XLVI

One of the elite tight ends in all of football, and a major reason why the New England Patriots are in Super Bowl XLVI, Rob Gronkowski is likely to play in Super Bowl XLVI despite a high ankle sprain, according to Mike Florio. He probably will not practice all week and in all likelihood will have arthroscopic surgery after the game.

The fact that he will most likely play is big news for this Patriots offense but the fact he likely will not be at 100 percent will likely make a difference. Fortunately New England has another damn good tight end in Aaron Hernandez.
