Blake Griffin Gives the Best Response to the Conclusion of the NBA Lockout

As you probably have heard, the NBA Lockout is all but over after both sides came to an agreement to begin the 66 game season on Christmas. Here are the specifics.
And as you would imagine, players were overcome with joy. But nobody had a better reaction than Blake Griffin.

Mike McCarthy and the Green Bay Packers have been cranking all season and are now sitting at 11-0 as the last team in the NFL this year without a loss. Now they are looking up at that one crowning achievement, surviving the regular season and enter the playoffs with no losses? Can they do it?

2011 NFL Week 12 Picks

2011 NFL on Fox Announcers & Distribution: Week 12

Better crank out the Turducken because Thanksgiving has cometh. That means another exciting Turkey Day game on Fox, this time between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. And then on Sunday they've got a singleheader slate with a sextet of games in Vikings-Falcons, Buccaneers-Titans, Panthers-Colts and Cardinals-Rams at 1:00 and Bears-Raiders and Redskins-Seahawks at 4:05. It ain't easy to deep fry a turkey without burning the house down so doing it at the game may be a good idea. Speaking of turkeys, 'tis be Thanksgiving week and that means the Cowboys will be playing, this time against the Dolphins. That game will be on CBS as well as the doubleheader this Sunday. The early games are Bills-Jets, Browns-Bengals and Texans-Jaguars while the late games are Patriots-Eagles and Broncos-Chargers. Tony Stewart Wins the 2011 Chase for the Sprint Cup

Tony Stewart has driven with nothing to lose all Chase. And after one of the most exciting and tightest Chases ever, the driver referred to as Smoke is champion of the Sprint Cup Series after finishing tied with Carl Edwards and winning based the victories tiebreaker (5 to 1). Edwards was steady and consistent all year but it was Stewart who won five races in the Chase, including the final one at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is Stewart's third title and most likely his most exciting, especially as an owner-driver. 

2011-12 College Football Bowl Predictions after Week 12

And just like that, chaos. After an extremely thrilling week with three teams with championship dreams, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Oklahoma, falling to Iowa State, USC and Baylor respectively, throwing the BCS for a loop and making the race to the BCS National Championship Game even more wild and complex.
