Lee Corso Dropping an F-Bomb on College Gameday Video

If you don't love Lee Corso, you don't have any standards. This is AWESOME.

The reaction of Kirk Herbstreit was epic.

So Did Iowa State Beat Oklahoma State?

That happens when you knock off the number two team in the country like the Cyclones did tonight by beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys 37-31 in double overtime, sending the BCS into some good ol' fashioned chaos and making all remember how much we love Neil Diamond.

Obama Campaign Putting Together Epic All-Star Hoops Scrimmage

As we all know, President Barack Obama loves the game of basketball. As we all know, the NBA season is not going on. So "The First Ever Obama Classic Basketball Game" is going down on December 12th and it being put together by Obama for America. And there's an absurd list of confirmed players:
Ray Allen - Carmelo Anthony - Chris Bosh - Vince Carter - Tyson Chandler - Jamal Crawford - Kevin Durant - Baron Davis - Patrick Ewing - Derek Fisher - Rudy Gay - Blake Griffin - Tyler Hansbrough - Dwight Howard - Juwan Howard - Antawn Jamison - Dahntay Jones - Brandon Knight - Kevin Love - Jamal Mashburn - Cheryl Miller - Reggie Miller - Alonzo Mourning - Dikembe Mutombo - Chris Paul - Quentin Richardson - Doc Rivers - Steve Smith - Jerry Stackhouse - Amare Stoudemire - Tina Thompson - John Wall - Russell Westbrook
I must say, if there are tickets for this thing, I may have to go to this and get Dahntay Jones' autograph.

Jets Need to Evaluate Mark Sanchez after Embarrassing Loss to Tebow & Broncos

Last night's game between the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos was tough to watch for America, unless you really love bad quarterback play. It was especially tough for Jets fans and their club somehow lost inexplicably to a team they really should have beaten. Talk radio in NY must've been a good listen.
Speaking of Jets fans, being from New Jersey I know a lot of Jets fans, one of them is prolific rancher and failed blogger Jeff Parles, who was so distraught that he sent me a little rant on the state of quarterback Mark Sanchez. Let's take a look at what he had to say.

Chicago Cubs Hire Dale Sveum as Manager

The Theo Epstein-Jed Hoyer braintrust aimed at bringing a title to the North Side of Chicago has found their manager in Milwaukee Brewers hitting coach Dale Sveum. Here's my take on the hiring.

NCAA Football 12 is Concerned About the Children

Anyone who has played NCAA Football 12 has probably done the dynasty feature, where you build a dynasty at a program and so on. So before the game you play, there's a little headline before the game. One of them, often for a rivalry game is "Hide the Children" and cue the irony.

Considering NCAA 12 was released months ago this would be unavoidable but alas.

2011 Chase for the Sprint Cup: Will Carl Edwards or Tony Stewart Win the Title?

The Chase for the Sprint Cup that NASCAR wanted when they revamped the point system has come about this year with a very tight battle with one race to go between Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart. Edwards leads Stewart by three points as the season is about to culminate at Homestead-Miami Speedway. One of these two drivers will be crowned champions of NASCAR, for Edwards it will be his first and for Stewart his third. Who will it be?

Howard Stern on the Penn State Scandal

So Al Michaels was on Howard Stern today and then Stern went into the Penn State scandal. Let's take a look because this just seems golden:

I can't really disagree with Stern's take on the situation, although I don't believe Joe Paterno is senile however. But it's hard to disagree with him for the most part.

Rex Ryan Tells Fan to 'Shut the F*** Up'

It was not the best of performances for this Jets squad last night at home versus the Patriots as a serious of mistakes and overall poor play led to a 37-16 loss. And of course, Rex Ryan was not happy. So when some Patriots fan said something to him as the team was heading to the locker room, Ryan responded in a hilarious and vulgar way. I'm surprised there's not more of these. Let's go to the videotape.

Cardinals Hire Mike Matheny as Manager

After the retirement of Tony La Russa, the World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals have been fishing for a new manager and have hired former Cardinals catcher and current adviser Mike Matheny as their manager. It's a move similar to the White Sox hiring Robin Ventura, most notably as it's a move I don't get.

2011-12 College Football Bowl Predictions after Week 11

We saw another big upset last week with 5th ranked Boise State falling at home to TCU, all but dashing their BCS hopes (there is still hope). Also shaking things up slightly was Stanford falling at home to Oregon. So with some shifting going on at the top of the ranks, here are my bowl predictions for this week.

Watch Jon Baldwin's Absurd Catch

And you think that the picture looks impressive, let's go to the videotape. Possibly the catch of the year?

Now it was called back but that was truly awesome.

2011 College Football Week 12 Picks

Every year, College Gameday hits up a site that would normally not be considered at all. This time, it's heading to the campus of the University of Houston as Case Keenum and the high scoring, undefeated Cougars continue their dreams of a BCS berth, greatly improved thanks to the loss of Boise State to TCU, as they take on their intrastate Conference USA rivals, the Mustangs of Southern Methodist. Who will win that high-scoring showdown? Read on for my prediction of that and every other collegiate football game from this upcoming week.

Juan Manuel Marquez Wears a Sombrero to Cover his Junk, This is Real

Courtesy Mock Session
Yes this is real and completely and utterly hilarious. After what was considered to be a very exciting fight with a controversial victory awarded to Manny Pacquiao (I didn't watch but would've with the chance) over Juan Manuel Marquez. HBO's Max Kellerman had the post-fight interview with Marquez, who had already stripped down nude apparently. Since this was a fight on pay-per-view, nothing would have happened if his wiener was out in the open but the sombrero is funnier. For video proof, read on.
