Finally Dirk Nowitzki's Time?

There have been so many great NBA players over the years who have failed to win a championship, there are too many to name. But as his Dallas Mavericks lead the 2011 NBA Finals 3 games to 2 over the Miami Heat, it seems like it may be the time that Dirk Nowitzki crosses his name off that list.

Watch Jenn Sterger Grilled on Boomer & Carton

Well earlier today infamous charlatan Jenn Sterger, the epicenter of the Brett Favre controversy featuring dong shots, went on Boomer & Carton on WFAN. And as expected, there were plenty of fireworks.

And if the Heat want to hold off the Dirk-led Mavs, James has to step up.

Can Mark Jackson Succeed Coaching the Warriors?

Not exactly coaching attire...
The big news of this evening is that ESPN/ABC NBA analyst Mark Jackson has been hired as the new head coach of the Golden State Warriors. Jackson has shown interest in becoming a coach and has been in the running for jobs in the past, unlike his compadre Jeff Van Gundy, who seems satisfied in the broadcast booth. As the Warriors is not an easy job and Jackson has never coached before, can he find success? Or will he fall flat on his face?

Have the Vancouver Canucks Sealed Up the Stanley Cup?

A magnificent performance from Alex Burrows, a couple nights after biting Patrice Bergeron, led the Canucks to a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 2 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals. And with that victory by Vancouver, they took a 2-0 series lead over the Boston Bruins. And as the series heads back to Boston for Game 3, can the Bruins make this a series? Or is Lord Stanley's Cup headed to Terminal City?
