Michael Bradley Loses Driver in Water, Rescued By Fan at The Players Championship

Yesterday in second round action of The Players Championship at the seventh hole, Michael Bradley's driver slipped right out of his hand and went right into the water. And not only that, it was rescued by a good samaritan who was able to fish it out of the water with another club as Bradley and Louis Oosthuizen watched on. Can't make this stuff up folks. To the videotape.

Watch Mike Greenberg Get Scared Out Of His Pants & Scream Like a Girl

Mike Greenberg has never been known as the epitome of manliness. In fact his lack of manliness is one of the most memorable running gags on Mike & Mike in the Morning. And thus him getting scared out of his pants on Friday the 13th 2011 by some staffer is incredibly hilarious. To the videotape we go.

2012 Winter Classic: Rangers vs. Flyers at Citizens Bank Park

It has been reported that the 2012 NHL Winter Classic will be held in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park as the Philadelphia Flyers will host the New York Rangers. The 2012 edition will be held on January 2nd of the New Year instead of the traditional New Year's Day slate to avoid a conflict with the NFL, which has a full slate of games on New Year's Day. It was reported that the Flyers would have liked to host the game at Lincoln Financial Field but that was scuttled due to the Eagles hosting the Redskins the day prior. Continue reading to view my take on this announcement for the fifth edition of the Winter Classic.

Kyle Lohse Does His Best Tony La Russa

Look familiar? Cardinals starter Kyle Lohse tried to do his best Tony La Russa impersonation when he walked out his team's scorecard prior to Thursday's victory at Wrigley Field. Maybe he just wants to bat higher in the order. Or give Bobby Valentine a run for his money (will never happen). Anyways, I thought this was hilarious.

2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Conference Finals Predictions

Four teams are left in the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs with their Stanley Cup dreams intact. After this round the Stanley Cup Final will be set with two teams still standing. Which clubs do I think will be there? It's time for my Stanley Cup Conference Finals predictions.

MLB on Fox Primetime Schedule: May 14th

As Fox Saturday Baseball invades primetime this Saturday at 7 p.m., one of the most heated rivalries in all of sports will be on centerstage (and no, Pedro Martinez and Don Zimmer will not be in attendance). Yankees-Red Sox is the featured game (what a surprise) that most of the nation will see, others will see Giants-Cubs or Rays-Orioles. Continue reading to find out who will be calling these games and which game you can find on your television come Saturday.

Watch Kenny Smith Get Pranked on Inside the NBA

Well we all know and love Inside the NBA on TNT because of the charisma amongst the guys in the studio as well as its glorious sense of humor. That sense of humor was on centerstage as Kenny Smith was trying to diagram a play of the Chicago Bulls showing the importance of Carlos Boozer. The problem was midway during the segment, he got pranked. And Ernie Johnson loves it.
Let's go to the videotape.

Not Even the NBA Playoffs Can Mess With Oprah

Let's say the Chicago Bulls finish off the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and the Miami Heat close out the Boston Celtics either tonight in Game 5 or in Game 6, then Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals would be on Monday, May 16. However, the United Center has been booked for that day for the tapings of one of the final episodes of the Oprah Winfrey Show. Who would have to budge? Think again.

2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Conference Finals TV Schedule

The NHL has just announced the television schedule for the Conference Finals of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs. In fact, here it is.

The New Wizards Uniforms are Awesome

Remember when the Washington Wizards were the Washington Bullets? Remember when they wore glorious uniforms? Well unfortunately, the 90's happened and then they changed their name to the Wizards because of the violent overtures "Bullets" suggested in the crime heavy Washington, D.C. (because Wizards in a heavy African American city makes total sense). They also ruined their awesome uniforms and brought in terrible ones. The Capitals did the same thing as they went from awesome unis to atrocious unis but after a while they realized their screw up and went back to the classics. And now the Bullets Wizards have done the same thing. Bravo.

Gus Johnson Leaves CBS, Heads to FOX

The major and surprising news of the day is that Gus Johnson, considered by some to be the voice of March Madness with his energetic calls as well as calling NFL games, has left CBS over a contract dispute, according to the terrific Richard Deitsch. March Madness will not be the same without Johnson making some trademark calls that make him a favorite for many young folks, like myself. I personally love Johnson on college hoops but not as much on football, and many times he tries so hard to make that special call even at mediocre moments it can take away from the game itself.
Johnson will move over to FOX Sports to work as their lead college football guy with select NFL games after college football season.

Charles Barkley Wearing a Helmet...Awesome

You may ask why Sir Charles Barkley is wearing a helmet in the picture above. Well just like so many who watch the Hawks play and just shake their head when Josh Smith shoots jumpers from outside. So Barkley was wearing a helmet at halftime of Game 4 of Bulls-Hawks to shield himself from J-Smoove's idiocy as well as to protect himself from his bricked jumpers.
Reason number 134 why Charles Barkley is awesome. Continue reading for video.

Watch Andrew Bynum's Bush League Flagrant Foul on J.J. Barea

What a way for Phil Jackson to close out his illustrious coaching career. His team forgets to show up in an elimination game and then one of his players commits one of the biggest bush league acts you will ever see at an NBA game. Continue reading to see the ridiculous cheap shot that Andrew Bynum did on J.J. Barea.

LeBron James Call Reporter's Question "Retarded"

After his club's tough game 3 loss to the Boston Celtics, Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat was asked about the contact with Rajon Rondo that led to the latter dislocating his elbow (but played on to lead Boston to victory) and whether it was a dirty play. LeBron James was clearly bothered or annoyed by the question and mutters under his breath "That's retarded." To the videotape.

Rajon Rondo Leads Boston to Huge Game 3 Victory Over Miami Despite Gruesome Elbow Injury

Just pause and look on the rough dislocated elbow Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo suffered last night above in the third quarter of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Heat. It looked that Rondo would be lost for the series, thus giving the Heat, who had a 2-0 lead over the C's, a major edge the balance of the series.
But somehow, someway Rondo played through the gruesome injury and heroically led the Celtics to a huge 91-87 victory last night. Let's go to the videotape.

Regan Smith Wins the Showtime Southern 500

In one of the most stunning and surprising victories in recent Sprint Cup Series memory, Regan Smith, driver of the #78 Furniture Row Racing Chevrolet, is the victor of the 2011 Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington Speedway. Smith took advanateg of track position when he stayed out on old tires when other cars pitted late and he was able to make it work. The race was also highlighted by a near melee between two of the resident firebrands of the Sprint Cup Series, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch, after contact left both with wrecked racecars. Harvick tracked down Busch's car after the race and managed to get a swing in at Busch but appeared to miss. Unsurprisingly, both were summoned to the NASCAR hauler. (Video here)
This is Smith's first career NASCAR victory, although you may recall when he was the first to the finish line in the 2008 AMP Energy 500 but his victory was disallowed after he took the lead by passing below the yellow line.
