Who Will Draft Blaine Gabbert?

I'm feeling pretty certain that the Carolina Panthers will select Cam Newton with the top pick. The Newton going number one rumor has gotten a lot of momentum of late and that is how I think they will go. So what does that need for the other top quarterback prospect, Blaine Gabbert from Missouri? Here is my analysis of the teams that could draft him.

The New York Jets Can't Be Serious About Adding Randy Moss

Vic Carucci of NFL.com reports that a team that is serious about bringing in Randy Moss, besides the New England Patriots, is the New York Jets. And I personally think that it would be a ridiculous decision for the Jets to make.

Watch 55 Year Old Marques Johnson Dunk Over a Car

We all remember Blake Griffin dunking over a car at the Slam Dunk Contest. So former NBA great and current Fox Sports analyst Marques Johnson, 55 years young, decides to do the same, with a twist. To the videotape.

Who Will Draft Patrick Peterson?

Patrick Peterson is the consensus top cornerback in the 2011 NFL Draft and is widely viewed to be the top player in all of the draft. Some believe he may the best cornerback prospect since Champ Bailey in 1999. But he plays a position that is traditionally not drafted very high and some teams may have bigger issues to deal with. So which will draft him?

Tim Lincecum's Windup in Slow Motion

Are you one of those folks who are amazed at San Francisco Giants ace Tim Lincecum's unusual pitching motion? Well prepare for this number as Red Bull recorded his delivery on one of those 1,000 frames per second cameras that capture a bullet in flight. It's really cool as how his delivery breaks down when you watch it in slow motion. To the videotape.

Unruly Fan at Pittsburgh Pirates Game Gets Tased, Beat by Cops

This video contains violence that some might find disturbing.

Came across this video of some unruly fan getting tased than beat with a nightstick before getting cuffed. Now I am not exactly a fan of drunken, unruly fans but this guy really must have been out of control to deserve the beating that he got. You'll see this kind of stuff every now and again in sporting venues and it's really a shame that fans have to be belligerent to the point where security has to beat you down to protect other fans.

How Much Trouble Are The Boston Red Sox In?

The Boston Red Sox were widely viewed to be a contender for the World Series (including me) but they have looked terrible and have sputtered out of the gate to a 2-8 record. Are they in really deep trouble or will they turn out all right?

2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs 1st Round Matchups

The matchups for the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are set. 16 teams will try to be the ones left on the ice holding the Stanley Cup in June. Here are those teams and who they will be playing in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Charl Schwartzel Wins The Masters

Tell me you saw this final round coming. Rory McIlroy, who had led wire to wire of the first three rounds, chokes massively with an 80 and finishes at four strokes under par. Tiger Woods shoots five under par on the front nine only to shoot even par on the back nine and finish four strokes off the lead. A pair of Aussies, Jason Day and Adam Scott, shoot terrifically in the final round and look to each possibly win the tournament only to finish tied for second at 12 under par. As many as five players hold the lead at one point. But only one man stood as the champion of the 2011 edition of The Masters and that was Charl Schwartzel, who shot a 66 today and finished at 14 under par. He started the day four shots behind the leader in Augusta but he finished two shots clear of the field. He finished the round with four straight birdies, the first time a major has been won by someone who birdied the final four holes.

This is Kenseth's second win at Texas and the 19th of his career. He led the most laps with 169. Clint Bowyer was the race runner-up. Kenseth also had two Roush Fenway Racing teammates finish in the top five with him in Carl Edwards (3rd) and Greg Biffle (4th). Paul Menard rounded out the top five.
