DeMarcus Cousins Off The Glass To John Wall...Unbelievable

To close out the Rookie Challenge on Friday night, DeMarcus Cousins laid it off the glass for his college teammate John Wall and Wall finished it like a boss. The play's simply un-freaking-believable. To the videotape.

John Wall and Blake Griffin Connect On An Insane Alley-Oop

Blake Griffin has taken the most exciting play in basketball to another level this season but during the Rookie Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend he and John Wall put together one of the most incredulous alley-oops I have ever seen. It was surely something to see, to say the least. To the videotape.

DeJuan Blair With The Epic Off The Backboard Jam

Everybody knows about Blake Griffin's insane hops but DeJuan Blair had a little something for the fans to think about during the Rookie Challenge with an awesome one handed slam dunk off of the backboard. To the videotape.

Reggie Miller Being Left Off Hall of Fame Ballot Is Ridiculous

Now in my opinion, Reggie Miller was overrated. Yes he was a lethal shooter, one you could easily argue as the greatest in league history, and he came up to play during the playoffs, but he only averaged 22 points per game once in his career and had mediocre assist and rebounding numbers. He had a career Player Efficiency Rating of 18.4, similar to Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, and Kevin Martin, and while it certainly is not a bad PER, it's not the stuff of legends. But I do genuinely consider Miller to be a Hall of Famer.
But the fact that he will not even be on the ballot is just absurd.

It's the biggest race of the year and it's also the beginning of another NASCAR season. Who will start their year on the right note with a victory in the Great American Race?

2011 Daytona 500 Starting Lineup

Now that the Gatorade Duels have been completed this afternoon, we know now the starting lineup for the 53rd running of the Great American Race, which will be held this Sunday as the green flag is scheduled to drop at 1:19 PM (EST). Check out where your favorite driver will be starting the 2011 Daytona 500.

J.J. Redick Gets Embarrased By Kirk Hinrich

Lord knows that J.J. Redick gets destroyed by crossovers. And it happened again against the Washington Wizards where Kirk Hinrich crossed him over so bad late in the third quarter that Redick tried to attempt a tackle from the floor. Hilarious. To the videotape.

Christian Eyenga Owns Pau Gasol...Wait What?

I really don't know who Christian Eyenga is but he's some guy who starts for the Cleveland Cavaliers but during his club's victory over the Los Angeles Lakers (what?) he dunks all over Pau Gasol. The world has now come full circle...to the videotape.

Dwayne Wade to LeBron James with a 90 Foot Alley-Oop

Granted it did not finish with a jam but Dwayne Wade's fullcourt pass to LeBron James for the lay-up alley-oop is still incredible. It's certainly the longest alley-oop I've ever seen. To the videotape.

2011 Hockey Day In America Schedule

This Sunday on NBC will be coverage of the inaugural edition of Hockey Day in America, a celebration of hockey across the United States. The NHL on NBC will present a rare doubleheader with three regionalized games (Capitals-Sabres, Flyers-Rangers, Red Wings-Wild) followed by a national telecast of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Chicago Blackhawks. All of that is followed by the Heritage Classic on Versus live from McMahon Stadium in Calgary with the Flames hosting the Canadiens.
Here's the schedule for all of the day's action.

2011 MLB on Fox Schedule

Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are here to present another year of Fox Saturday Baseball. The highlight of the just-released schedule is three consecutive primetime game windows in May, including a record six games on Memorial Day weekend that will be nationally regionalized. Fox hinted at doing primetime telecasts last season and due to the ratings success of last year's primetime window, it is not a surprise to see them go at it again.
Here's the MLB on Fox schedule for the 2011 MLB season plus the announcers for each game as we find them out.

Taking another stab at trying to predict at which site the eight March Madness broadcast teams will be calling games in rounds 2-3 on the networks showing every game of the 2011 NCAA Tournament live, CBS, TBS, TNT, and TruTV. I'll use the bracket from Bracketelogy 101 as it is the best on the web. Here we go.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Wins Daytona 500 Pole

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has earned his first ever plate race pole award as he was the fastest today during pole qualifying for the Daytona 500 with a speed of 186 mph. His teammate Jeff Gordon will start next Sunday's 500 alongside Junior.
The rest of the field will be set during the Gatorade Duels on Thursday but go-or-go-homers Bill Elliott, Travis Kvapil, Joe Nemecheck (on speed), and Terry Labonte (with champion's provisional) did secure spots today as well as those inside the top 35 in owner points.
