Boston Red Sox Turn Triple Play Against Rays

One night after the Milwaukee Brewers turned a triple play against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Boston Red Sox turned the triple tonight in the fourth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays. With a man at second and first, he Rays' Sean Rodriguez grounded to the third baseman, which tonight was Jed Lowrie, who tagged third and then threw to second base and Dustin Pedroia, who tagged second, who then quickly threw to first to just get Rodriguez. I thought these triple plays were rare, now we've seen one on two consecutive nights. Let's go to the videotape, courtesy of the great folks at SportsGrid.
