Wofford Wins Southern Conference, Headed To NCAA Tournament

For the second straight year, the Wofford Terriers are going dancing as they defeated the Charleston Cougars last night for the Southern Conference tournament title 77-67 thanks to a 21 point performance from Cameron Rundles. Wofford did lose both regular season matches to the Cougars but the third time was the charm for them. Wofford is projected to be a 14 seed for the 2011 NCAA tournament by Bracketology 101. Meanwhile, the Cougars were denied their first NCAA tournament berth since 1999 and coach Bobby Cremins' first since 1996 with Georgia Tech.
