West Virginia Holds On Against Clemson, Marches On To Third Round

Thanks to great performances from Darryl "Truck" Bryant and Kevin Jones, the Mountaineers of West Virginia, 5th seed in the East region, pulled away from the fatigued Clemson Tigers, the 12 seed, 84-76 today in Tampa. The Tigers were able to make it a ballgame late but several turnovers from the team in orange in the final minute spelled their doom. West Virginia will now face the #4 seeded Kentucky Wildcats, who defeated the #13 Princeton Tigers, on Saturday (round 3 TV schedule).
Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel have the recap.
