UTSA Wins Southland Conference Tournament, Heads To March Madness

The Roadrunners of the University of Texas-San Antonio won the Southland Conference Tournament by defeating the Cowboys of McNeese State 75-72 to go to their first NCAA Tournament since 2004 and their fourth overall. They were lead by a terrific performance from their stud freshman Jeromie Hill, who scored 25 points today at the Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy, Texas. And despite finishing only fourth in the West division in the Southland, UTSA is headed to the big dance.
