Pittsburgh Runs Away From UNC-Asheville

It was only a five point game at the half between the top seed in the Southeast, the Pitt Panthers, and the victor of the one of the play-in games, the UNC-Asheville Bulldogs, but history was not to be made in the capital as Gary McGhee and Pitt came out on top, 74-51 thanks to a 44-26 run in the second half. The Panthers are in for a tough test on Saturday when they play the reigning national runner-up, the Butler Bulldogs who won at the buzzer earlier today, at Verizon Center (round 3 TV schedule).
Tim Brando and Mike Gminski recap from Washington.
