North Carolina Edges Washington, Moves On To Sweet Sixteen

In this East region matchup, Harrison Barnes and the #2 North Carolina Tar Heels trailed most of the afternoon to the #7 Washington Huskies but were able to rebound and take the lead late and they were able to prevail 86-83. Tyler Zeller and Barnes combine for 45 points and point guard Kendall Marshall had 14 assists.
The Huskies had a chance late but they got screwed when the officials did not give them enough time after a Hail Mary shot bounced out of bounds off a UNC player. The Huskies' final shot did not go and they head home to Seattle.
The Tar Heels are headed to Newark and the Sweet Sixteen and will play the winner of Marquette and Syracuse.
Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg recap from the Queen City.
