Kyrie Irving Returns, Leads Duke To A Destruction Of Hampton

Kyrie Irving, the supremely talented point for the #1 Duke Blue Devils who has not played since December, returned to the hardwood with a vengeance as he led all scorers with 14 points as the Dukies crushed the #16 Hampton Pirates by an 87-45 score in this second round matchup in the West region. The game got out of hand early but the storyline of the afternoon in Charlotte was whether or not Irving would play or not and how well would he play. Granted Hampton is a putrid team but the early results of Irving's gameplay are positive. Duke will take on Michigan, who routed Tennessee earlier today, on Sunday (round 3 television schedule).
