Kemba Walker Leads UConn Past San Diego State, Heads To Elite Eight

Thanks to another superb performance from star guard Kemba Walker, 36 points with 22 coming after the half, and some generous officiating, the Connecticut Huskies, the third seed in the West region, defeated the second seeded San Diego State Aztecs by a 74-67 score to advance to the Regional Final this Saturday. Jeremy Lamb also came up huge for the Huskies as he chipped in 24 points and nailed a key three-pointer with 1:43 to go that was the dagger in the heart of the Aztecs. Now UConn will face Arizona this Saturday for the right to advance to the Final Four.
