Kansas Pulls Away Late From Boston

For much of this 1-16 matchup in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Boston Terriers had the Kansas Jayhawks on the ropes and had historic upset on their minds. But after a bit, normality was restored as the Jayhawks pulled away late by going on a big run as they knocked down their shots and won, 72-53. But the game throughout was closer than the final score was but the Terriers were never able to get in front and crumbled away late. But they showed with their determination that they were a better club than most of America thought and should be applauded for their efforts today at BOK Center.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk will take on UNLV, who smoked the Fighting Illini with such ease, on Sunday to advance to the Sweet Sixteen (round 3 television schedule).
